Angelina Jolie has reportedly asked her lesbian lover to be godmother to her children - angering boyfriend Brad Pitt, according to Britain's Daily Star newspaper.

The actress allegedly wants Jenny Shimizu, who she had a relationship with while filming 'Foxfire' in 1993, to give spiritual guidance to her two adopted children, Maddox and Zahara, and her unborn baby with Pitt.

The Buddhist "guardianship" ritual will take place later this year.

A source told the paper: "Brad plumped for his best friend George Clooney and Angelina was keen on her ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller. However, she decided they needed a strong female force in their lives.

"Brad's going along with it but he's not over the moon about it."

Meanwhile Angelina has reportedly developed a pregnancy cravings - for traditional English desserts.

The pillow-lipped beauty is desperate for stodgy puddings like rhubarb crumble and treacle tart since she conceived.

An onlooker who saw her eating the sweet treats at a pub near her Buckinghamshire home told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "She was really tucking into the puds. She got recipes too, so she can make the desserts back home in America."
