TMZ has obtained video of Britney Spears leaving the Malibu Urgent Care Center on Monday. We're told Spears complained of stomach cramps. This is not Spears' first problem with stomach cramps. Britney is going to perform at Mardi Gras this year.
Just when things are starting to mend in New Orleans, the city was dealt a crushing blow when Britney Spears announced that she will be a part of the Mardi Gras celebration this year. We are just praying to God that she won't sing.
Britney Spears, a Louisiana native, will celebrate Mardi Gras in New Orleans later this month when the devastated city hopes to revive some its old partying ways.
"I am honored to be a part of the Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans this year," Spears said in a statement Monday. "It is so important for this amazing city to continue its annual traditions and I am really looking forward to being involved."
The 24-year-old pop star will appear on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Feb. 28 (7 a.m EST), when the morning show reports live from New Orleans. ABC announced that Spears will bring "surprises for a group of very deserving young residents."
The Mardi Gras parade season will run from Feb. 18-28; Fat Tuesday, or Mardi Gras Day, is Feb. 28.
Spears grew up in Kentwood, and has participated in fundraisers for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
No word on if her trashy husband will be participating as well. I am assuming since booze and women will be present, we'll see Kevin in attendance.

TMZ has learned that Shannen Doherty was involved in a car crash in Malibu on Monday and the other driver was taken to the hospital.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that the 34-year-old actress was driving her Range Rover when she made a left turn onto Pacific Coast Highway, striking a Mustang driven by James Warren Paul. James Warren Paul was taken by ambulance to a Santa Monica hospital.
We're told Doherty complained of pain at the scene but refused treatment.
Law enforcement official tells TMZ Doherty was cited for causing the accident.
TMZ contacted a relative of Paul's this morning. She said Paul is home recuperating with a neck injury and that his car was totalled.

Multiple insiders confirmed the story to Life & Style, with one longtime friend of Tom’s saying: “Their relationship is basically over.” Another friend adds: “They both agreed that the marriage wouldn’t work and they wanted to end it before they learned to hate each other.”
The insiders say that Tom, 43, and Katie, 27, plan to keep up the charade of a romance until after their baby’s birth this spring. In the meantime, the couple will live in his Beverly Hills home though sleeping in separate bedrooms throughout the summer. Then, presumably, they’ll announce a separation — but Tom plans to buy Katie a home nearby so he can visit his child whenever he wishes.
