Despite recent rumours about Jessica Simpson’s close relationship with Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine,it seems that they were more then just friends back in 2004.Photographer Andrew Sweeney and reporter Lisa Ladabouche saw Simpson and Levine get hot and heavy after they had both performed at a concert for Kiss 108FM.Sweeney and Ladabouche have told US Weekly that they saw Simpson and Levine kissing backstage…at the time Simpson’s husband Nick Lachey was on holiday in Fiji with his brother.They said: They were backstage flirting. He was touching her hand. And then they just leaned in and started going at it, making out."Not horribly, like teenagers making out, little kisses.""I definitely saw them kissing. It was a shock - especially knowing her husband was away."And she's supposed to be this innocent figure."Hmmm…why wait until now to tell this story?
