Actor Tom Cruise’s had nothing to do with fiancee Katie Holmes’s sex scene being removed from her upcoming film, “Thank You For Smoking”.

Director Jason Reitman reportedly solved the mystery of the actress’ raunchy sex scene, a young production assistant had misplaced the saucy shot.

“It was a projection error. They just lost that reel,” Contactmusic quoted him, as telling the New York Daily News.

Insiders were quick to blame Tom, 43, for the dismissal of the scene, suspiscious by its absence at the Sundance Film Festival, the filmmaker’s reveleation has confirmed the actor is indeed innocent.
