Anna Nicole faced the Supreme Court as part of her ongoing plead to inherit a portion of her late husband J. HOWARD MARSHALL's fortune.
Smith's legal arguement dates back to 1995 when 89-year-old oil tycoon Marshall died, leaving nearly $2 billion fortune behind.
She was originally awarded $474 million by a federal bankruptcy judge, but later the amount was reduced by a federal district judge.

Standing in the French Quarters, the Louisiana native was surrounded by St. Catherine of Siena School dancers wearing "Gatorettes" uniforms, talked on ABC's "Good Morning America" Tuesday of her recent "surprise" meeting with four older students from Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans.
"It was awesome. I will never forget it," said 14-year-old Lindsay Hernandez, who lived with 21 relatives and friends after her home was destroyed.
Britney Spears took the girls shopping and dined out at one of Cajun chef Emeril Lagasse's restaurants for some Southern cooking, that included fried chicken, red beans and rice. They talked about shopping to horrible time of Katrina.
"We had to go to a shelter," said Auntrell Prosper, 17, who still has Beyonce posters on her bedroom walls in her devastated home. Now the 17 year-old teenager lives with her family in a small trailer.
"It was an honor to be here with all of them," Britney Spears said, she honored the girls with "fleur-de-lis" pins on blue ribbons, and she surprised the school's dance troupe, the Gatorettes.

Clay Aiken needs to be honest about his sexuality!
In Boston's Wyndham hotel on December 5, 2005 former American Idol contestant, Clay Aiken felt lonely and resorted to internet chatting for relief reports Celebrity Weekly Star Magazine. Though Clay has denied being gay in the past, the person who he corresponded with and exchanged photos, and IMs with that night was a MAN. The man said Clay begged him to come to his room and even sent steamy video clips of him. Just last month, former Green Beret, John Paulus went public that he had a romp in the sack with "American Idol" superstar Clay Aiken. After his revelation, John Paulus received death threats from the singer's faithful fans. John Paulus's name was leaked onto the Internet as the man who was blabbing to the National Enquirer that he had sex with their beloved "Idol," who's repeatedly denied being gay.
Clay's reluctancy to come out may be because of his Christian upbringing in conservative North Carolina birthplace. It's clear now that he is in search of a boyfriend. For instance in Boston it was not the first time Clay revealed himself online to a man. In January, Clay sent publicity pictures to someone he chatted with online, to prove it was really him, he even showed himself on his Webcam. The source was shocked and said Clay had told him he loves to "kiss like an addict" and begged him to come to his room. Hopefully Clay will find love outside of cyberspace soon.

Stern feels screwed!
Ribald U.S. radio host Howard Stern, said on Tuesday CBS chief Les Moonves, is pursuing a personal vendetta against him because the network's radio profits have plunged since Howard's left to join satellite radio.
"I'm offended. I really do think this is a personal vendetta. Les has had it in for me for a long time. I don't deserve it," Stern told a news conference.
The New York Post reported there suing Stern for $500 million.

HOLLYWOOD heartthrob Josh Hartnett has revealed how sex scenes are impossible for male actors, as they always upset their female co-stars.
Josh, 27, told More magazine: "They can be really tricky. If you don’t get horny while you’re doing them, the actress gets mad at you. But if you do, she gets mad too. You can’t win!"
The actor, who is happily dating 'amazing' Scarlett Johansson, also confessed to fancying British women.

Reitman said more people probably know about his movie because the scene went missing. "The most likely reason that they would have heard of it is because of the sex scene."Jason Reitman says "I was sitting there in the theater, the scene was missing, and my immediate thought was, `Oh my God, Fox cut the scene out of my movie,'" Reitman told AP Radio in an interview. "And then I realized, `No, if it's at the end of the reel, the projector probably just accidentally cut it out.'" According to First Coast News.
It's a projection error - it was not Tom Cruise.
The blame of the missing scene was laid on Cruise, Holmes' fiance, speculating that he had pressured Reitman, son of "Ghost Busters" director Ivan Reitman, to remove the scene.
"That's a fun story. I'd read that story. The problem is that it's not true," Reitman said. "The problem with `projection error' is that it's the truth but it sounds like a lie. It sounds an awful lot like `wardrobe malfunction.'"
The filmmaker also said Holmes' sex scene is not at all steamy hot but quite dull as something you'd might see on the Disney Channel.
"Thank You for Smoking" - with the sex scene - will be released in slected cities March 17.
