Nicole Kidman was questioned by the FBI over a private detective's illegal wire-tapping charges. PageSix magazine reported a recording of Kidman talking to ex-husband Tom Cruise, found in the PI's office in 2002, which was made not long after the couple announced their separation in February 2001. The PI, Anthony Pellicano, apparently he tapped all of his own clients, and Cruise had hired a lawyer during the divorce proceedings who regularly enlisted Pellicano's services. Pellicano has also been accused of tapping into Sylvester Stallone phone lines, and several other celebrities. Pellicano has pleaded guilty to all charges of racketeering, interception of electronic communications, and other offences.
