She supposedly did her own hair and make-up and that turned into a big mistake. Her hair was describe as a "rat's nest". Britney never understood her image was failing until she decided to do her own make-over. Her fans reacted--like she did something horrible! She only cut her hair and dyed it black. 'No big deal'! Wrong! Not only did her fans react to her new look but also editor to Harper's Bazaar fashion magazine (who were were featuring her on an upcoming cover).
The fashion magazine editor was shocked when she showed up to the photo shoot. Stylists for the shoot attached brunette hair extensions at the last minute.
The new look makes her look older, more sophisticated.

Britney dying her hair to help her image would be like an aging hollwood actress who's popularity is slipping, let's call her Meryl Streep, doing a donkey show to help her image.
So let me see if I get this straight, if Brit wheres jeans, shorts, skirts, etc, shes trailer trash, and if she wears tight clothes shes a slut. She just never wins does she. I don't see you people calling Victoria Beckham a slut and she's got 3 boys-OMG SHES A MOTHER TO-just like Britney, and look what shes wearing. Britney looks like any normal non-celebrity mother. But if she was showen never to be with her child-you would call her a bad mom let alone the things you already criticize her for. Then you knock her for having another child WHO THE HELL CARES-its her life her choice-leave her the hell alone.
I completely agree with you shorty. The public should cut Britney some slack.
