The 21-year-old A-lister wore a revealing gold Gucci dress slashed to the waist that had some onlookers wondering if she was bowing to Hollywood pressure to be super-skinny.
"Whatever people say about my weight they are all wrong," she told reporters on her way into the premiere, which was also attended by her fellow "Pirates" stars Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.
"Hollywood is all about the way you look and I don't think that's the healthy thing for anyone. But if you're strong and comfortable with yourself then you're going to be fine."
Knightley made it clear that she had enough confidence not to succumb to scrutiny of her looks, insisting that her young age inspired her style selection for the event.
“If you can’t wear a dress like this when you’re 21, when can you? Luckily I haven’t flashed anyone yet!” the Sun quoted her, as saying
