The police found Michael's Mercedes sitting at the intersection.
A source at the scene said: “George seemed to be slumped at his steering wheel somewhat out of conscious. The police helped him out of the car and an ambulance was called.”
A little bit of marijuana was found on George.
He was first taken to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead then booked at Colindale police station, for suspicion of being unfit to drive under the influence of drugs. Michaels was released on police bail on the same afternoon.
