The cousin and former assistant of Britney Spears, Alli Sims, has hit back at reports that the troubled singer is a terrible mother, despite rumors that she quit as Britney’s assistant over the way her sons were treated.
Newspaper reports have suggested that Sims is now helping Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline win custody of the boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James - giving up first-hand knowledge of her cousin’s mothering skills, or lack of them.
But Sims insists the stories simply aren’t true and Spears is a great mum.
She told People magazine, “She’s a wonderful mom and she is so hands-on.
Britney loves those babies to death. And they adore her.” Sims also insists she’s still close to her cousin, despite quitting as her assistant: “I love her, she’s beautiful inside and out. We’re still great friends.”

Melanie Brown, also known as Spice Girl Mel B, has filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to legally establish actor Eddie Murphy as the child of her three-month-old daughter.
A DNA test in June confirmed that Murphy is the father of Angel Iris Murphy Brown, who was born in April. Now Brown is seeking to legally establish paternity.
She also seeks sole custody of Angel Iris Murphy Brown and reasonable child support, according to her attorney Gloria Allred.
Brown and Murphy dated last year and Brown has listed Murphy as the father on the child's birth certificate. Murphy has never publicly acknowledged paternity.

Nicole was given the choice of what jail she wanted serve her time, which is said to be around 90 hours.
Nicole Richie was sentenced to a fine and time in jail after she was found guilty of her second DUI offense.
Richie could have chosen a ‘private jail’ which is much nicer than Lynwood, but she must serve the entire sentence, and at Lynwood, She’s got a chance of getting out early due to overcrowding.
Prison spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed Richie’s choice.

And the star admits she is still struggling to come to terms with the invasion of privacy.
She fumes,“I don’t want them to take my daughter’s picture, it really upsets me, I can’t bear it. They were so horrible when she was born. They tried to take pictures of me in labor as I was going to the hospital.
“They called the fire department on our building to get us to come outside when she was five days old. It’s silly to give them the finger, but we get so frustrated.”

Britney will share the spotlight with NO ONE! So they left and headed to Il Sole instead where all eyes could focus on just her.
Last Tuesday, “Britney Spears turned up at the Chateau and the only table available was the one next to Posh,” laughs the snitch. “But Britney didn’t want to sit next to her, so she and her friend stormed off to Il Sole instead.”
