Mandy Moore says she will never become a "f**k-up".
The singer-and-actress has taken a swipe at her hellraising rivals, such as Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, by insisting she will never follow the path that leads to drink, drugs and brushes with the law.
Mandy, who is renowned for her squeaky clean image, told Marie Claire magazine: "I'm by no means a goody-goody, but I'd rather be considered a goody-goody than a f**k-up. It's funny that there's so much emphasis put on that now. Their extracurricular activities are more newsworthy that anything they're really doing."
Mandy Moore hates being intoxicated and rarely drinks because she is scared of saying something she will regret when she is sober.
She said: "I've probably been drunk, maybe, four times in my entire life. Honestly. I guess I'm a bit of a lightweight.
"I have a better time enjoying one glass of wine and just being relaxed. It's a bit of a control thing - I don't like not being in control of my words. I like to go to bed at 10pm, or 10.30pm, because I like to wake up at 7am."
The 23-year-old star, who got her first recording deal when she was just 14, insists she can't reinvent herself as a wild child because it's not who she is.
Mandy added: "I'm not going to walk out without my underwear on. I'm not going to stumble out of a club drunk, you know? It's just not me, it wouldn't be authentic."
