Emmy award winner Katherine Heigl is praying for Britney Spears, and hopes that she recovers from her career landslide.
She told TMZ.com: “I hope to God she finds her way."
The Grey's Anatomy star – who won her Emmy for Oustanding Actress in a Drama Series - claims that Hollywood has taken it’s toll on the Toxic star, who has been under the media spotlight since the tender age of sixteen.
"If you don't have the time and experience to know yourself well enough, this can be the result," claims Heigl.
She added: "My heart breaks for her — she's been showered with a lot of attention at a very young age."
Spears made headlines yesterday after an L.A. judge ruled that she would have to undergo twice weekly drug tests in order the maintain the 50/50 custody agreement she currently holds with ex husband Kevin Federline.
The 25-year-old made more headlines when she was spotted at two L.A. nightclubs within hours of the judge discussing her ‘habitual drug abuse.’
According to numerous publications Spears was drinking heavily at both clubs.
"They kept bringing [Spears] shots," a fellow partygoer told People.
"She was dancing on the tables trying to be really sexy, even putting a black sock over her head as a hat, and putting on a show for everyone."
