Reese Witherspoon has branded Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton bad role models for women. The Walk The Line actress is angry the "sad and very strange" behaviour of the hellraising trio undoes the work of women from previous generations who fought against a male-dominated society.
Reese Witherspoon says, "We don't need to keep reading about female celebrities who are out there posing all the time and craving attention and exploiting the sex symbol stereotype. "My mother and grandmother fought incredibly hard against a male establishment to become high achievers in their lives, and I think women should be able to be sexy and smart and successful - without being silly and aimless."

Bai Ling, who worked with Jolie on two projects -- Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and Jolie's documentary A Place in Time says that the two shared a “special attraction” during filming.
"I felt this energy between us, when we look at each other there's an energy, an attraction," Ling told Us Weekly at our Hot Hollywood party on September 26. "Her eyes transfer a sexual energy to me that makes her irresistible."
Ling said that Jolie, 32, made her a promise while on the set of Sky Captain. She recalled: "Angelina said, 'Next time we'll play lovers.'"
So did the twosome get physical off-camera?
"We could have hooked up, but it just wasn't the right time or place. But she told me, "My heart's open to you.’"
Ling continued: "She is like me. She is totally open sexually.”
The China native said that the last time she saw Jolie was at this year's Tribeca Film Festival.
She added: "I've always thought Brad [Pitt] was the sexiest man on the planet. So now that Brad and Angelina are together, now maybe I could experience both at the same time!"

This week Federline was given sole custody of the couple's two boys -- Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. That may have surprised some who knew Federline for infamously leaving his pregnant girlfriend Shar Jackson to take up with Spears as well as for his reputation as a bad boy on the party scene.
But observers say that decision reflected Spears' steady emotional decline and Federline cleaning up his act.
"There seems to be a direct relationship between his sense of responsibility and the unraveling of Britney Spears," said Harvey Levin, managing editor of gossip Web site TMZ.com.
"When she divorced him, he was just reviled. People thought he was a slacker who didn't own up to any responsibility, much less parenting," Levin said. "But when she started spiraling, he really did step up and he really did take over the kids."
In the 11 months since the couple's split, Spears, 25, has been in and out of rehab, shaved her head, attacked paparazzi, and been photographed in various states of drunken disrepair, sometimes without underwear.
Meanwhile, Federline mostly stayed out of the limelight, keeping himself and the children out of the tabloids.
"From the moment that those two split up, you have never seen him photographed with the kids," said Us Weekly Editor-In-Chief Janice Min.
"It's interesting that without Britney in his life he stopped going out, he stopped partying, and this barrage of negative information about Kevin stopped coming."

The film is based on the 2004 Danish-language film directed by Susanne Bier and Anders Thomas Jensen.
According to Variety.com, Portman will play Maguire's wife. That role was originally played by Danish actress Connie Nielsen, which won her the 2005 Bodil Award for Best Leading Actress.

Rihanna recently stood up for Britney Spears and defended the dreadful performance she put on at the MTV Video Music Awards.
"You can't judge her performance without knowing what was going on with her personally," the singer was quoted as saying by BreakingNews.ie.
"She had so much pressure for that one performance. I'm telling you, it's not easy being on that stage. I performed for a minute and a half, and I was extremely nervous. To have the amount of pressure that Britney had? I don't know what I would've done. She did her best, so leave her alone."
