Katie Holmes Is "Heartbroken"


Katie Holmes is reportedly ‘devastated’ that she was turned down for a role in the movie adaptation of the Broadway musical ‘Nine.’ The actress, who is married to Tom Cruise, was turned down for a role in the film because director Rob Marshall thought she didn’t fit the part.

“Katie desperately wanted to be in ‘Nine.’ It would have taken her back to the singing and dancing she did when she was growing up,” a source claims. “She thought working with Rob would be a career breakthrough. She was heartbroken when she didn’t get the part.”
