She may be a former Baywatch babe, but Kid Rock says being married to Pamela Anderson was a “nightmare”.
The controversial singer said although the wedding was fun, married life did not live up to expectations.
“Getting married was a ball,”he told US entertainment show Extra. Being married sucked, it was horrid - that was a nightmare.”
Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, said he was not surprised that Pam had wed Rick Salomom so soon after divorcing him. “At this point in my life, nothing is really surprising,” he said.
Pam, 30, split from Rock in November last year, after less than four months of marriage. She then wed Salomon in Las Vegas in October.
Rock, 36, has not held back with his criticisms of the actress - but admits he was hurt by the split. “Of course you are hurt. Whenever you go through a divorce…and you are in love with another person you are hurt,” he said.
He added: “I just kind of remove myself from that whole world, have no part of it.
“The sad thing is there were kids involved… they don’t make as much sense of it as we do as adults.”
