Kiefer Sutherland is expected to get out of jail on Monday morning. The "24" actor's 48-day jail sentence would have been completed by that time, a Glendale City Jail spokesperson tells People magazine.
Officer John Balian, who has no idea who will be picking up the actor on his way out, assures everybody that Sutherland will be "let out the front door just like everyone else."
The 41-year-old "The Lost Boys" actor had pleaded no contest to DUI charges filed against him stemming from his September 25 arrest last year. That was his second time since another similar incident in 2004. He began his term on December 6, spending his birthday, Christmas, and New Year's at the facility.
Sutherland reportedly behaved with good conduct in jail. He did not ask for any special treatment and did laundry duty and clean-up work. He had brought only two books with him and requested to reroute all his numerous fan mails to his publicist. He also did not make too much phone calls and was only visited once by his attorney.
