She apparently wanted to get some help after having a few breakdowns. A source said, "She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears. She not in a good place right now, but thankfully, she's getting the help she needs."

1:20pm: OK! confirms that Britney has been unexpectedly released from her court-ordered hospitalization after doctors determine she is no longer a danger to herself or others.
2:00pm: Britney is spotted driving erratically around the San Fernando Valley in her brand new black Mercedes-Benz. In the passenger seat is a bodyguard, believed to be the same former Israeli military officer who bodyguards for Lindsay Lohan.
3:00pm: After several shouting matches with the paparazzi, the bodyguard in the car with Britney is evicted from the car by the side of the road in Brentwood. Brit moves to the passenger seat and asks a photographer from X17 photo agency to drive for her.
3:15pm: Britney's car arrives at the Beverly Hills Hotel. While the pop star is waiting for a room, she has a chance meeting with former TV newscaster, and First Lady of California, Maria Shriver.
4:40 pm: The singer's boyfriend Adnan Ghalib arrives at the Beverly Hills Hotel in his Mercedes convertible and is rushed up to Britney's room by security guards.
4:47 pm: Six LAPD officers arrived at the hotel. Rumors begin to circulate that Britney's parents are on their way to have her sent back to the hospital.
5:05 pm: An LAPD officer confirms to OK! that Britney was secreted out of the hotel in Adnan's car.
5:20pm: Britney and Adnan arrived at a office building on Santa Monica Blvd. Adam Streisand, the lawyer who Brit tried to hire over the weekend, has an office in that building.
7:00pm: Hiding under a blanket in the back of a paparazzi's car, Brit and Adnan manage to sneak out of Streisand's office building and return to the Beverly Hills Hotel, where a heavy police presence remains.
9:00pm: Brit's father Jamie arrives at the Beverly Hills Hotel and talks to the concierge. According to one eyewitness, Jamie "looks very tired... like he just wants someone to help him out." A few minutes later, Jamie is led to a private conference room.
9:20pm: The number of police officers at the Beverly Hills Hotel increases and they begin gathering in the lobby, outside in the valet parking area and upstairs on the second floor of the hotel, where Britney and Adnan are holed up in a room together.
9:30pm: Jamie Spears enters Britney's room with what is believed to be legal documents in his hand. Meanwhile, down in the hotel's private parking garage, a number of hotel guards are keeping watch on Brit's Mercedes.
Midnight: Sources confirm to OK! that Britney and Adnan have been taken home by the same X17 photographer who drove Brit to the hotel earlier in the day. Brit's car remains in the hotel's garage while Adnan's is driven by an associate to the offices of his former photo agency.

The 33-year-old actress left Utah's Cirque Lodge rehab clinic on Feb 6 and boarded a flight to Los Angeles shortly after 9pm (pst) after spending a number of weeks in rehab.
At the time her spokesman said: "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much needed time off to attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support."

Paris Hilton found herself somewhere she never thought she'd be: Harvard.
"Harvard is hot!" the 26-year-old celebrity heiress said Wednesday as she picked up the Harvard Lampoon humor magazine's "Woman of the Year" award in front of the Lampoon castle.
"Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine standing here, standing on the steps of the Harvard Lampoon. It's really exciting and I've had such a great time," said Hilton, who stars as an attractive best friend to an ugly duckling in the film "The Hottie & the Nottie," which opens Friday.
Hilton, who arrived an hour late for the festivities, told the crowd of about 100 people who greeted her that her "Simple Life" co-star Nicole Ritchie was with her, then added: "Just kidding."
The Lampoon award is a spoof of the annual honors given by Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals. The nation's oldest undergraduate drama troupe planned to present its "Woman of the Year" award to Charlize Theron on Thursday. "Man of the Year" Christopher Walken will be honored Feb. 15.

The actress and hubby Josh Kelley found the black SUV covered in glass outside their Hollywood home.
Amazingly Josh's 2 guitars were still in the backseat - the only thing that was missing was their Sat Nav.
'They only stole the GPS device that's it,' Josh, 27, told his wife - and waiting paparazzi.
'I've got like guitars and everything in there. The cheapest things they could have possible taken. I guess people who do this are pretty stupid anyway.'

Katie, who is increasingly looked upon as a style icon, seems to be enamored with red color. Last night was at least the fourth occasion in recent times when we have spotted her in either a red dress or a red coat.
Far from growing tired of her color choice we are beginning to get enamored with it. Red never seemed like a great color to us till Katie awakened us to the possibilities.

As soon as she was released today Britney was back on the streets mobbed by the paparrazzi. She had her bodyguard in her new mercedes with her while she drove aimlessly around Pacific Palisades, Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. After an hour of driving Britney threw her bodyguard out of her car, a paparrazzo jumped into her car to end up at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The police, her mom Lynne, and father are now on their way to the hotel to pick up Britney to take her back to the hospital.

Lindsay Lohan has blamed her bad behaviour on not having a father figure.
The 21-year-old star - who checked into rehab for the third time last August following two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests and a brief stint in jail - says seeing her father sent to jail caused her a lot of emotional pain.
Lindsay, who did not speak to her dad Michael - a recovering alcoholic - for three years, said: "When I look back on this last year, it's like, what was I thinking? Not seeing my father was really hard for me, and not being with my family enough.
"I wasn't taking any time to just sit and live and breathe. I was going, going, going, and that ran me down. It was a stressor. It upset me. I didn't have a father to call, and that was a lot of the pain."
Michael served two years in prison from 2005 for various probation violations following an arrest for DUI.

Rap superstar 50 Cent has denied kicking Paris Hilton offstage and reducing her to tears during a pre-Super Bowl concert - insisting he "ain't (sic) that heartless".
Hilton hosted the bash for 944 magazine in Scottsdale, Arizona and was reported to have been deeply upset when the rapper forced her out of the limelight at the party on Thursday (31Jan08).
But the hip-hop star and his band insist the reports are inaccurate - because they would never treat the socialite badly.
DJ Whoo Kid, who was on stage with 50 Cent at the event, tells MTV.com, "It's no way we would kick Paris Hilton off the stage... We ain't (sic) that heartless. I know 50 hates Ja Rule and Fat Joe, but he ain't that heartless to throw Paris Hilton... off the stage.
"Somebody called me and asked me if Paris got kicked off. I was like, 'Huh?' She was dancing the whole time. She was having a good time. We hung with her afterwards. I guess people wanna hear, '50 threw Paris Hilton off the stage.' "

Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees was arrested this morning in Las Vegas for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
Rees was pulled over shortly before 3:00 AM for a traffic violation. According to Las Vegas police, when they attempted to arrest her, "she became physically aggressive towards the officer."
Cops tell us they were just going to cite Rees but when she went nuclear, they took her in. FOX5 in Las Vegas broke the story.
Rees was famously stripped of her crown after salacious photos surfaced, showing Rees in some interesting positions with a few other babes

Reps for Gisele Bündchen, girlfriend of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, set the record straight Tuesday regarding reports that the model said she would streak through New York's Times Square if the Giants beat the Patriots, according to a report in People.
