Kylie Minogue has been named Best International Female Solo Artist at the annual Brit awards in London.
"I'm all overcome. This is incredible," the Australian pop princess told the crowd as she collected her award.
Minogue was presented with her award by Doctor Who star David Tennant, with whom she kissed in the Doctor Who Christmas special, Voyage of the Damned.
The two got up close and personal again as Tennant lifted the diminutive star up as she accepted her award on stage.
The win followed a dazzling performance from Minogue, who took to the stage to sing Wow, from her latest album X.
Dressed in a jewelled gold figure-hugging dress, she appeared with a line of dancers fully covered in shiny, metallic tracksuits with matching helmets.
The performance and award mark a triumphant return to the music show for Minogue following her battle with breast cancer.
Earlier in the night, she dazzled on the red carpet in a sparkly, black vintage Vicky Tiel dress.

Troubled singer Britney Spears has failed to regain visitation rights to see her two children.
In a closed-door court hearing yesterday, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled against changing a previous order banning Spears from seeing her kids.
The 'Toxic' singer lost the right to spend time with her sons last month after a breakdown at her Beverly Hills, California home at the end of a scheduled visit, which resulted in a three-hour police stand-off.
Neither Spears nor her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who retains custody of Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, were in court.

Rihanna’s career is flying at the moment - she recently bagged a Grammy Award & has celebrated huge success with many of her singles - but the one thing the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker is most grateful for is a Brit Award.
The singer - who turns 20 today, is bursting with pride that her music is appreciated across the pond. “I’m more excited than the Grammys,” she said. “The Brits are fantastic and I’m thrilled with my nomination.”
The pint-sized singer - who’s set to battle it out with Alicia Keys, Kylie Minogue, Bjork and Feist, in the Best International Female category, doesn’t reckon she’ll win the coveted gong - but is glad to be taking part. “I’ve got my fingers crossed. It’s a tough category,” she added.
What’s she’s most looking forward to, though, is her special performance with “badass” Brit band Klaxons.
She added to British newspaper The Sun: “They’re a badass band. I’m so excited to be working with characters like that. I was talking to Mark Ronson about our duet and he thinks it’s the coolest thing ever.
“I want to release our collaboration. It is so sick. I really wish we’d worked together earlier.”

Peter Andre threatened to end his relationship with Katie Price after discovering that she had taken drugs behind his back.
Price has confessed to her drugs shame in her latest autobiography Pushed To The Limit, which has just been published.
The model revealed that she took an unnamed substance while suffering from post-natal depression following the birth of her son Junior in 2005. She was forced to confess to Peter after having an unexpected reaction to the drug.
"My heart seemed to be racing fast, I felt hot and I began to panic," Katie explained. "Oh my God, had I overdosed? Was I going to die?"
When she told Peter about what she had done, he shouted: "My God, that's it! That's the end of us!"
Price eventually called out a doctor, who checked the model and assured her that she would be fine. However, the incident had long-term repercussions for her relationship with Andre, who feared that his wife would become an unfit mother.
Earlier this month, Katie's former nanny Becky Gauld branded her a bad parent.
However, Price has insisted that her life is now back on track and she is planning to renew her wedding vows with Peter.
"I know it seems soon but we've already been through what most people experience in a lifetime," she said. "It would be a celebration of our love and a new start."

On her job:
"Acting requires so much delving into yourself and exposing yourself, so it's sensible to be wondering, Do I still want to be doing this? But I enjoy the work, and everything is so solid at home. I don't care if they say I've had buttock implants. Or not. I don't care. Go ahead! That's the nice thing about getting to the age I am. I could have said I didn't care before—but secretly I did. And now I really don't."
On considering quitting acting to become a doctor:
"I was at the point where I was wondering whether the work I was doing was sustaining me intellectually. I'd had enough of the ludicrous questions. Like, 'Have you had your boobs done?' or 'Have you slept with Colin Farrell?'"
On struggling with her career:
"I sort of ended up in Los Angeles by accident. And it was sort of terrible to be jostled into this position of a fame-hungry starlet. Which is so honestly not me! In fact, I could use a bit more of that because I am such a hermit! So I allowed myself to get really bothered."
On her husband, Len Wiseman:
"I have a husband who lit-erally worships me. And cleans the house. And blow-dries my daughter's hair."

David Beckham has declared his undying love for wife Victoria with a new tattoo.
The soccer star had the words 'Forever by your side' etched on his left forearm in italic lettering as a permanent and romantic pledge to his wife of eight years, and the mother of his three children. ( Watch The Tattoo )
David, 32, unveiled his new body art at a training session with his soccer team Los Angeles Galaxy in Hawaii this week.
A source said: "David wanted to do something special for the woman he loves and Victoria could not be happier with his unique declaration of love."
This is the latest tattoo inspired by Victoria that David has added to his vast collection.
Last month, he paid &5,000 for a naked image of Victoria, 33, based on his favourite photo of the Spice Girls star.
The seven-inch artwork on his left arm features the singer lying on her back surrounded by stars and baring her breasts with her knees raised up seductively.
David and Victoria also have matching tattoos of the Roman numerals VIII.V.MMVI, which represent the date they renewed their wedding vows on March 8, 2006.
David's collection also includes the names of the couple's three children, Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, five and Cruz, three.

Aguilera wore a revealing low-cut dress as she made her first TV chat show appearance just a month after giving birth to son Max Liron Bratman.
And he was left blushing - and then laughing hysterically - as host Ellen DeGeneres highlighted how certain physical attributes were clearly still swollen. “You look great, Ellen told her, quickly adding: “One question: Are you nursing?”
A blushing Aguilera responded: “I guess it’s a little obvious,” and DeGeneres quipped back, “It’s going to be a healthy baby boy.”
Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman celebrated the birth of son Max by throwing their newborn a party complete with “penis balloons.”
She told the chat show host: “You know, we are not a very conservative couple, and I definitely like to have fun with things and be festive and go all out.
“For decorations, we put up penis balloons all over the place — blue and white,” she said. “It was really fun, it was really great.
“Big penis balloons. For our family we got big ones...there you go, baby!”

Jessica Simpson is close to getting engaged to her boyfriend Tony Romo, reports Us Weekly.
Michael Starr, a close friend of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Romo, said: "I think they're going to get married."
Romo's former girlfriend, actress Sophia Bush, said: "I think they could go the distance. They're perfect for each other.
"They're both funny and wonderful and kind. I'm rooting for them."
