George Clooney has not been asked to be the godfather of Nicole Kidman's unborn baby, his representative has said.
It was reported that the actress was planning to have her baby baptised in a Catholic church and felt her Hollywood friend would be an "ideal" godfather.
But Stan Rosenfield denied that Kidman had made the request, saying: "They are friends, but George was not asked to be the godfather."

Katie Holmes for Armani -- the actress will design her own line of clothing for the world-famous fashion house, OK! reports.
She will reportedly start with a collection for toddlers in spring 2009. "The first clothes will all be things she could imagine SURI wearing," a source tells the mag. It will be followed by a collection for older children that fall, then a handbag line for women by fall 2010.
"The Katie Holmes for Armani collection will be comparable in price to the Armani ready-to-wear line," says the OK! source. "It will be sold in stores like Saks, Barneys New York and Neiman Marcus. We're talking very upscale: less expensive than Armani Privé but more than Armani Exchange. These are going to be very high-quality clothes. We're not talking cheesy Jessica Simpson stuff."
Don't expect her to turn her back on movie making, "Katie's dedication to fashion does not mean she's given up her acting career," the source adds. "She definitely wants to continue with that too, but right now this is her priority."

Britney Spears has been banned from a Hollywood nightclub because of the "media circus" that follows her. Vincent Laresca, the co-owner of West Hollywood hot spot Villa, has told the Toxic hitmaker she will be refused entry if she attempts to attend the club in the future. He tells the New York Times, "She came twice, but we don't want the media circus that would create."
It is not the first time Spears has been refused entry - she was banned from West Hollywood's Hustler store after she stripped down to her underwear in November last year (07).

The advertising for Simpson's doll boasts: "She's sexy, newly single, and ready for you! This hot blonde bombshell has three thrilling holes to satisfy your every desire, and since she's dumb as an ox, she never says no!"
The firm reportedly wants to create a Britney Spears doll in the future.
