Lindsay Lohan did not star in a sex tape with her ex-boyfriend Calum Best -- the woman featured in the explicit video purported to be the actress is actually an unknown from Illinois.
Lohan found herself at the center of a scandal on Thursday after the British tabloid The Sun published grainy images from the Internet video, claiming the footage showed Lohan performing a sex act on model Calum Best, who she dated briefly in 2007.
Best -- the son of Northern Irish soccer legend George Best -- denied the reports, and now TMZ.com alleges other stills taken from the sex tape show the woman in the clip bares few similarities to Lohan.
The video footage was posted on YouTube.com by the male star of the clip, who had filmed his girlfriend.

Jamie Lynn Spears is ‘enjoying’ her pregnancy and coping with the paparazzi better than big sister Britney, sources say.
The ‘Zoey 101′ actress - who announced her shock teen pregnancy in December last year - has been shopping, hanging out with her friends and behaving like any other normal teenage girl, 3 months before she’s set to become a mom for the first time.
Even though her life is being invaded by the paparazzi, the 16-year-old teen star is handling the pressures of fame much better than her Toxic star sister.
“[Jamie] has such a level head on her,” a source tells OK! magazine. “She is handling this situation with a maturity that is surprising even her own family.”
Earlier this month, Jamie Lynn watched a local basketball game, and a few days later enjoyed coffee with girlfriend, and the following week, she headed to Connie’s Jewelry & Gifts for a few trinkets.
“She’s behaving like a pretty normal teen,” adds the source. “She’s not even worried about how much weight she puts on or doing any special exercises.
“At her age, her body will bounce right back and she knows it.”
As far as Jamie Lynn’s relationship with her troubled sister is concerned, the friend insists that Britney, 26, and Jamie Lynn chat at least every couple of weeks, and are working to re-establish the close bond they once shared.
