"The Hills" star Lauren Conrad has slammed a magazine for using a fake interview and embarrassing her on the front cover.
The reality TV star has accused Us Weekly of pulling together a number of interviews and placing her picture on the front cover with the headline, "Stabbed in the Back," referring to her friend and co-star Audrina Patridge.
But Conrad is adamant she has not spoken to anyone at the publication.
She writes on her blog, "The article itself is a nice one but it follows headlines that, in no way, represent my words or feelings. I do not feel betrayed by Audrina or (Conrad's ex) Brody (Jenner). I love them both and said nothing to contradict this."
And a friend tells Page Six Conrad was not happy with the article because she is friends with people at the magazine: "She's very good friends with these people. She goes out to dinner with them, and so does Audrina. So Lauren definitely wasn't happy when she saw this cover."

Irish model Calum Best has laughed off reports he stars in a sex tape with Lindsay Lohan which has been leaked on the internet.
The son of soccer legend George Best was at the centre of a sex tape scandal after British tabloid, The Sun, reported the video had appeared on the internet, after Best sent the clip to "close friends".
The footage emerged on Thursday, allegedly showing the 'Mean Girls' star performing a sex act on Best - who she dated briefly in 2007.
However, the 27-year-old's representative says: "Sorry to disappoint you, but it's not Calum in the tape."

The “With You” singer was spotted snuggling up to a furry blue dragon doll as she was whisked away from LAX in a chauffeured car.
Salomon and Anderson, 40, were married Oct. 6 in Las Vegas then separated Dec. 13.
Messages left for Anderson's attorney Larry Ginsberg were not immediately returned. The documents did not name a lawyer for Salomon, and he could not be reached.
Court papers entered Friday showed that Salomon agreed to a filing by Anderson in late February requesting that the marriage should be voided. No spousal support was included.
