Jamie Lynn is now engaged to her boyfriend Casey Aldridge, sources have confirmed.
The Zoey 101 star has been spotted wearing a sparkling engagement ring around her home town of Kentwood, Louisiana.
Aldridge, 19, proposed to the actress earlier this week, three months after she revealed she was expecting.
His cousin, Tina Robinson, told American magazine Us Weekly: "They probably weren't expecting [the proposal] to be, like, right now, but with her being pregnant, that really pushed it up."
It is not yet know if the teen couple will wed before or after Jamie Lynn delivers.
After her pregnancy was announced, Aldridge's uncle, Odus Jackson, 71, said his family were "hopeful" they would marry.
He said: "It would be something that we could all look forward to in time and that it would not be a forced thing even if it happened."
The pregnancy, which has been a staple fixture in U.S. gossip columns, coincided with Britney's well-documented problems.
In January it was reported that Jamie Lynn had been dumped by boyfriend Casey Aldridge because he doubted he is the father.
Aldridge, it was said, insisted that she has a paternity test to prove he is the child's father. The report was denied by Spears' representatives.

The twin babies of singers Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Emme and Max, are only one month old and already they have had their first starring role - in a photo shoot for People magazine.
The celebrity magazine published photos of the family in its new issue, accompanied by an interview with the parents in their home on Long Island, New York.
"They spoke candidly about the pregnancy, addressing everything from Jennifer's weight gain to rumors of infertility," People deputy managing editor Peter Castro said in a statement.
"The twins were almost 6lbs each when they were born. And right now, yes, Jennifer has lost a lot of the weight, but she is in no rush to lose all of it, Castro said.
"She is enjoying motherhood and that is what she is concentrating on."
Castro, who spoke to Jennifer ahead of the release of world exclusive photos of the twins in People, also revealed the 38-year-old star was unbelievably proud to be a mother.
He said: "Jennifer described it as the most magical time of her life. She said, 'You know what? You can win an Oscar, you can win a Golden Globe, and as an ambitious artist you strive for those things. But when you have a kid, all of that is irrelevant.' "This is what is most important to her. As she said, 'As a woman this is the biggest thing that can happen to me.' "
Media reports had said People was paying the celebrity couple between USm and USm for US rights to the first photographs of the babies, but a spokeswoman for People said "recent speculation in the press is wrong."
She declined further comment, saying the magazine does not discuss specific details of its picture deal.

Mila Kunis posed for the cover of our April/May book which is also our first ever Green Issue. We didn’t bother asking the lovely Mila if she recycles, but we did talk to her about her role in Judd Apatow’s new comedy, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. We also got her thoughts on invisibility, Chuck Norris, her gig acting on Family Guy and a lot more. Come back tomorrow to see the cover of our flip side. Pick up the issue when it hits stands nationwide on April 10th. Read a few nuggets from her interview and watch the video from her photo shoot and after the jump.
Mila on what she would do with the power of invisibility:
“I would go into the White House, I would go into the Senate. I would go into these peoples’ private homes and feel like I was invading them and it would be the craziest rush. It’s the most fucked up thing you could ever do. I think it would be great.”
Mila on the high stress work environment that is Family Guy:
“I come to work one day out of the month. I come in my pajamas, I hang out and play Ping-Pong, I record a couple pages of stuff, and I leave. I hope that job never ends. It’s like money from the sky.”
