Victoria Beckham threw her mum Jackie Adams a lavish 6-hour bash at London's swanky Claridge's Hotel yesterday to celebrate turning 60.
A handful of close family and friends were treated to vintage pink champagne and food from Gordon Ramsay's restaurant as they partied in a private room.
'I saw at least 5 bottles of Laurent Perrier pink champagne leave the room empty – and it costs £85 a bottle,' a source tells the Daily Mirror.
'But it was clear from the amount of bubbly going into the room that money was no object and Victoria really wanted to spoil her mum and her friends.
'Everyone was smiling – it looked like a really cool party. Victoria has known everyone in the room for a long time so she felt she could really let her hair down.'
Victoria, 33, who looked stunning in a tight-fitting embroidered white dress teamed with a faux fur shrug, left her sons at home. Husband David, 32, was in the States playing with team LA Galaxy.

Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham are in the middle of a bitter feud over tattoos and a vogue front cover according to reports today.
The fashionable friends have apparently fallen out after Katie became jealous after Posh was asked to appear on the front cover of the top magazine.
"She's envious that Victoria scored the more prestigious magazine. Katie feels that she deserved it more," a source told Now magazine.
The latest argument follows a heated row after Katie called Victoria's tattoos 'trashy'.
The source reveals, "When Victoria advised her to get some tattoos like hers, Katie hit the roof, saying, 'Tattoos are trashy. I wouldn't be caught dead with one."
"Victoria said, 'How dare she attack my tattoos? I know more about fashion than she'll ever know. I have my own line! I've told her what to wear and what not to - she used to dress like a schoolgirl. Then she even tried to copy my hair. Now she doesn't think she needs me.'"
The feud has reportedly put an end to a friendship that blossomed when Victoria and her footballer husband David moved to LA last year. Fashion critics have noted the improvement in Katie's sense of style since spending time with Victoria.

Could Amy Winehouse be turning fashion model for Roberto Cavalli?
It is rumoured that the Italian designer has approached the singer, following a recommendation from Victoria Beckham.
A source told the Mirror this weekend; 'Cavalli was suitably taken in by what Victoria had to say that he's now determined to get Amy on board.'
Posh has reportedly become quite a fan of Winehouse, for both her music and personal style. She commented earlier this year, 'She has a real sense of style that I love. She is a fashion icon because she's unique.'
It is believed that Cavalli has approached Amy with an offer of a lifetimes supply of free clothes, in return for her wearing them at her concerts, performances and public functions.
Winehouse's spokesperson refused to confirm the deal, but added, 'Amy is considering many offers at the moment.'

Kate Bosworth doesn't remember filming the sex scene in her new movie 21 because she was "so drunk".
The 25-year-old actress was terrified about shooting the raunchy sequence with co-star Jim Sturgess and drank alcohol beforehand to calm herself down.
She said: "I don't remember filming that scene. We were both so drunk! Jim and I became such good friends, we decided to have a couple of drinks, loosen up and go for it."
British actor Jim - who plays the lead role in 21, a film about six students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who took Las Vegas for millions of dollars - said they soon realised drinking before the scene wasn't a good idea.
He told People magazine: "We were drinking Grey Goose vodka, I think. It was brilliant for about half an hour. But as we continued to drink it just became sloppy and messy. I couldn't even stand up at one point!"

New mom Jennifer Lopez has spent a whopping $50,000 on a home gym to help her lose weight after gaining almost 50lbs during her pregnancy.
The ‘Jenny From The Block’ singer — who gave birth to twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony on February 22 — has been working out as much as possible to get her figure back.
A source told Britain’s Star magazine: “To motivate her, she’s splurged out on a $50,000 home gym for her New York mansion. She’s also consulted trainers, nutritionists and doctors, looking for the safest way to drop the weight in record time.”

Ashlee Simpson has denied reports she has been banned from appearing on "Saturday Night Live."
The star was left red-faced after she was caught lip-syncing during a performance on the show in 2004, but reports claim the singer was eager to make a return to the series to promote her new album, "Bittersweet World."
Sources tell the New York Post's Page Six column Simpson was "a pain" during her time on "Saturday Night Live," and that the show's producers were reluctant to have her back.
However, Simpson's publicist insists she won't be appearing on the show due to conflicting schedules.
A representative for the star says, "We're not doing 'SNL' because they're dark the week we are here in April and there were no other opportunities later in the year."

Zac Efron has refused to speak about girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens as he fears they may break up. The couple began dating after meeting on the set of their movie ‘High School Musical.’
“I don’t want to be another 20-year-old actor talking about my relationship,” he said. “I want to keep that private – sorry. All I can say is that Vanessa’s a great girl. And I’d hate to say more about it because by the time this interview comes out; it may or may not be relevant.”
Meanwhile, the pair has signed on for the third installment of the High School Musical. The movie is set to be released later this year.

Mariah Carey has said she doesn't "have birthdays" and claimed that she still feels like a 12-year-old.
The singer insisted that she has the innocence of a young child, revealing that she has anniversaries rather than birthday celebrations.
She told Parade: "I’m eternally 12. And that 12-year-old inside me is an eternal optimist.
"I know what it feels like not to have fame or money, and I do still feel like that same person in many ways.
"Honestly, I don’t even have birthdays. I call them 'anniversaries'. It really is about being as young as you feel."
Carey added: "I will still always choose a day at Disney World over a night in Las Vegas, because that’s who I am."

Simpson was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday for a "minor kidney infection" and was released Monday, Simpson's representative Lauren Auslander told The Associated Press.
In Touch magazine reported Simpson's hospitalization Monday.
Auslander said the 27-year-old singer-actress is feeling "much better now."
