Katie Price – aka Jordan – was an unlikely guest at this year's prestigious British Book Awards and, when the glamour model came face to face with JK Rowling, it wasn't just a literary stand-off that ensued.
The surprising battle of the night? The quest to contain their bulging cleavages. Katie was dressed in her usual ultra-glamorous style and sported sexy a full-length, brightly-coloured maxi dress. But it was JK Rowling who surprised guests by upping the glamour stakes in a slinky satin dress, which struggled to keep her heaving cleavage in check.
At one point, the Harry Potter author was even given a shielding hand to maintain her modesty by a companion.
Used to wearing revealing outfits, Katie had no such problems – and seemed relaxed socialising with some of the biggest literary stars at the awards held in the Grosvernor Hotel on London's Park Lane.
The model-turned-author joined luminaries such as Rowling, crime writer Patricia Cornwell and Ian McEwan to discover if My Pony Care Book, her debut children's book, would win in the youngsters' category.
Her new literary career has been propelled by over a million sales of her autobiographies, Being Jordan and A Whole New World, and her fictional books Angel and Crystal, ghost-written by writer Rebecca Farnsworth.
