Toni Braxton has cancelled her Las Vegas shows after being hospitalised with chest pains.
The 'Un-Break My Heart' singer was due to perform her 'Toni Braxton: Revealed' show at the Flamingo Las Vegas hotel from today (15.04.08) to Saturday (19.04.08), but was forced to pull out after doctors told her she needs further medical tests.
While the exact cause of Toni's hospitalisation earlier this month has not yet been revealed, the 40-year-old Grammy award winner has previously suffered from Pericarditis - a viral inflammation of the heart.
As she already had a two-week break scheduled, Toni is not expected to return to the stage until May 6 at the earliest.
Don Marrandino, President of the Flamingo Las Vegas, is offering refunds to ticket holders for the cancelled shows.
In August 2007, reports emerged that Toni was suffering from breast cancer, but she was quick to deny the story, insisting: "My health is in great condition".

Ashton Kutcher poked fun at his marriage to Demi Moore during his spot as guest host of Saturday Night Live this weekend (12Apr08), with a little help from Cameron Diaz.
The pair appeared in the skit, with Kutcher, posing as a tennis coach and younger lover of Diaz' ageing character Kiki, the author of a book teaching woman how to "bag a younger man".
When grilled on his taste for older woman, Kutcher, 30, teased 45-year-old Moore - who also made a brief cameo appearance on the comedy show - and made a reference to his friendship with her ex-husband Bruce Willis.
In character, he said, "I love it. There's so many reason I prefer older women. They usually have tricked out kitchens and sometimes they've got those donut makers. And their ex-husbands have been pretty cool so far.
"They're kind of like your favourite pair of shoes. A comfortable worn-out pair."

Ashlee Simpson and her fiance, Pete Wentz, are reportedly expecting a child together.
US magazine broke the news just days after the couple announced that they were engaged.
Representatives for the 23-year-old had no immediate comment on the report and no further details are available.
Simpson has been romantically linked to Fall Out Boy's Wentz, 28, since 2006.
On Thursday the couple posted a statement on the social networking website friendsorenemies.com in which they announced that they would be getting married.
"We are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. We consider this to be a very private matter, but we wanted you to hear it straight from us," the announcement said.

The 'Touch My Body' singer recently lost around 14lbs and wants to share the secret of how she did it with the rest of the world.
She said: "I might be doing a workout video, which will be fun, so I can show how I achieved my goal. Although I've lost weight I still have my curves!"
Mariah has confessed she made the decision to slim down after seeing photos of herself looking out of shape.
Although she wanted to get fitter, the 38-year-old star doesn't think people should obsess about their weight.
She added: "I think people should be a size that they are comfortable with. The thing with me is that because I am constantly having my picture taken and am on TV I could see that I really did need to lose some of the bulk."

The late Australian actor - who tragically died from an accidental prescription drugs overdose in January - was reportedly warned he had become too obsessed with his portrayal of iconic Batman villain The Joker in the upcoming blockbuster.
A source told FOX News: "Heath refused to talk to anyone out of character. If you tried to communicate with him normally instead of The Joker, he would just ignore you.
"He would often come to the set to hang out even on his days off, freaking everyone out. Towards the end of filming, he was warned by people that he had gone too far, but it was almost like he couldn't connect with those who cared for him anymore."
Ledger reportedly locked himself in an apartment for an entire month before playing The Joker, who he described as a "psychotic, mass-murdering clown".
Ledger also admitted he had such trouble sleeping while shooting the film he resorted to taking the prescription drug Ambien.
Sources on the set of 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' - the movie Ledger was filming when he died - also claimed the actor could not "snap out" of character and seemed to have "lost sense" of who he was.

Country singer Faith Hill has denied online reports that she is pregnant, after she appeared at the 2008 CMT Music Awards in Nashville on Monday night (April 15) wearing a free-flowing top.
A posting on Perez Hilton's website that suggests, "maybe she's trying to cover up a baby bump!", did nothing to ease the spread of the rumors.
However, Hill's representative has denied the stories to Usmagazine.com, confirming that she is in fact "not pregnant".

Kate, if you were someone like Heidi Montag, it would be understandable for you to skip the movie because of the possible bad acting. You're a great actress so you have nothing to be afraid of. Then again, it seems like everyone hates seeing themselves in videos or on the big screen. Everyone feels like their own voice is very annoying.
