"American Pie" star Jason Biggs has married actress Jenny Mollen at a simple ceremony in Los Angeles.
The couple wed at City Hall on April 23 without family or friends in attendance.
A source tells Star magazine, "Jason and Jenny agreed that they did not want to deal with the whole family thing because it would have been too stressful on both of them
"They thought it would be a lot more relaxing to do it just the two of them with no pressure. It was a very private wedding and that is exactly how they wanted it."
The couple met on the set of the upcoming movie "My Best Friend's Girl" and have been dating for nine months.
They are currently on their honeymoon in Hawaii.

Award-winning actress and Honorary Chair of the Avon Foundation Reese Witherspoon was a special guest at the sixth annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Washington, D.C. this weekend, cheering on and joining walkers on their second day and participating in the celebratory and inspirational Closing Ceremony.
At the Ceremony, Reese joined the family, friends and supporters of 3,500 participants in celebrating $8.1 million raised for local, regional and national breast cancer organizations. The women and men in the weekend-long Avon Walk Washington, D.C. hailed from 40 states and included nearly 300 breast cancer survivors.
"I am very excited to be partnering with the Avon Foundation and to help them continue to affect real change," stated Reese. "I feel a great responsibility in my own life to give back to society. As the Honorary Chairman of the Avon Foundation, one of my first experiences last year was to meet Avon Walk walkers at a training walk in Los Angeles. Now I am proud to support the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer here in Washington, D.C. and hope my presence can in some measure express my deep appreciation for all the women and men who participate in the Avon Walks, and for all of the people who dedicate their lives to breast cancer research and care."

Reps for both Scarlett Johansson and Reynolds confirm to E! News that the blond bombshell and her actor beau are engaged.
No further details, including when the question was popped, the size of her rock or whether they've set a wedding date, have been announced.
However, a source close to Johansson tells E! News that the couple have actually been betrothed "for a little while," and they have kept the engagement on the down-low because "they want to keep things private."

Avril Lavigne has postponed a series of US tour dates after being diagnosed with acute laryngitis.
Four gigs, in Anaheim, Universal City, San Diego and Phoenix were postponed, with four further dates put off for the future.
A message on the Avril Lavigne website explains that the gigs are postponed, although ticket refunds are available to fans. No details of rescheduled tour dates have been released.
In a statement on the website Lavigne said: "My sincerest apologies to all of my fans. My intention was to complete the rest of the tour but tonight at sound check in Anaheim I realised this wasn't possible. Even though I have been resting my voice for days, when I tried to sing nothing came out."
The affected Avril Lavigne tour dates are:

- San Jose Pavilion (7)
- Spokane Arena (9)
