First Look: Jessica Alba Poses as Charlie Chaplin

Jessica Alba takes on the guise of screen comedy's first iconic figure, Charlie Chaplin – all for the June issue of Allure.

In the course of the accompanying interview, the pregnant Alba, 27, opens up about her sexy public image and how she finally learned to feel comfortable with her body.

Some highlights from the interview:

On Her Steamy Public Image: "[Hollywood] always play[s] up your sexuality, because that's what gets men into the theaters. And I never really gave a s--- about all that stuff! It's nothing to be ashamed of. But it is definitely not what I am about by any means!"

On Owning Her Sexuality: "I don't think I was comfortable with my sexuality until I was an adult, probably, like, 22 – that's when I stopped apologizing and stopped feeling ashamed. I did the Vagina Monologues in L.A. That made me proud."

On Sex Before Marriage: "I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they're having sex. I don't think sex is a big deal. I hated the hypocrisy of it. Men can do whatever, and it's acceptable."

Charlize Theron says that she completely accepts that she did everything possible to look unattractive when playing the lesbian killer Aileen Wuornos in "Monster," but for many of her other roles she was simply make-up free and was still called ugly.

Theron is now letting the media know that she will no longer tolerate any rude questions about her looks. The actress told W magazine for the new issue, "You better not be bringing up ugly."

Theron claims that she did absolutely nothing to play down her gorgeous looks in the movies "North Country" and "The Valley of Elah," but her characters were called less than attractive.

She states, "North Country was dirt. That's what happens when you go into a mine. In the Valley of Elah - that's when I took real offence, because that was just my real hair color and me with no makeup."

The Oscar-winning actress is also annoyed by people who think she chooses `ugly' roles to win awards and gain popularity as a serious actress.

She adds, "It really irks me that people think I choose these roles because, if I'm not looking attractive, they will take me seriously. I'm sorry, but if I'm going to play a cop, I'm not going to be wearing eyeliner. I'm not going to wake up in a scene with lip gloss on, because that's not how women wake up, not even the most beautiful women."
