The troubled singer lifted the lid on her destructive efforts in a candid interview.
She told a Rolling Stone reporter, who spent time with the singer in her London home,
"To be honest, my husband's away, I'm bored, I'm young. I felt like there was nothing to live for. It's just been a low ebb."
Following Amy's shocking admission, her management are said to have put her under 24-hour surveillance in a desperate attempt to keep her clean from drugs.
