Oprah Winfrey Launching Her Own TV Channel


Viewers won't get a peek at Discovery Communication's new OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network until early next year, but the company unveiled some of its planned programming for media buyers today in New York, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Among the offerings: Winfrey's Harpo Prods. will produce a show featuring Oprah guest Peter Walsh, a professional organizer; a one-hour sex and relationship talk show featuring Sirius XM radio host Dr. Laura Berman, and a franchise dubbed Lisa Ling Investigates. The full schedule will be announced later this year.
