Out for a good cause, Jessica Simpson attended Operation Smile’s 8th Annual Smile Gala in Beverly Hills.
The “Angels” singer looked to be in good spirits in a dazzling black jumpsuit as she posed for pictures alongside hairstylist/pal Ken Paves, papa Joe, and mom Tina.
The 29-year-old is an ambassador for Operation Smile, a foundation that strives to heal children’s smiles by repairing facial deformities including cleft lips and cleft palates.
Last night, a special presentation took place to honor the Simpson family for their hard work and continued support of Operation Smile.

No more sex tape for Kim Kardashian as she has vowed to never make another one after the raunchy video featuring her and then-boyfriend Ray J was leaked back in 2007. Opening up about the matter during an interview with Cosmopolitan, the reality TV star confesses, "I was devastated, but when something negative happens, I pick myself up and move on ... and I don't make the same mistake twice."
When asked about her dating life, Kim claims, "I've learned what I'd need to do to balance a career and family. A lot of work goes into relationships. Right now, I'm figuring it out." At the time of writing, it is widely believed that the socialite, who will turn 29 years old later this month, has rekindled her love with NFL player Reggie Bush.
Kim's interview is featured on Cosmopolitan's November 2009 issue, which will hit the newsstands on October 13.

If Lindsay Lohan looked a little sheepish as she hit the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week, it was probably warranted after the sniffy response to her debut fashion line.
The jobbing actress has reportedly been acting as 'muse' to Estrella Archs, the new head designer at Emanuel Ungaro, for the past three weeks.
And the fruits of their brief union were unveiled to a discerning audience on Sunday.
"This is the real me," Lindsay told the The Sunday Telegraph. "Working with Estrella and the team at Ungaro is a dream come true.
"Fashion is one of my favourite things in the world and this is the best week of my life."
But despite her vocal enthusiam for the project, Lindsay appeared nervous as the Autumn/Winter range failed to excite fashionistas gathered at the Louvre museum.
The actress was greeted by only a smattering of applause as she and Estrella took to the catwalk after models had paraded their collection.
