Lady Gaga Getting a Tattoo For Dad


Lady Gaga is set to celebrate her father's successful open-heart surgery by getting a tattoo tribute to him.

The Paparazzi hitmaker took the last two weeks off to nurse and care for her father Joseph as he had a valve replaced in his heart, and she's relieved last Thursday's (22Oct09) operation went well.

She says, "I'm gonna get a tattoo for him this week; I'm gonna get a heart that says 'Dad' in it."

The new skin art will be GaGa's ninth tattoo.

She adds, "I told him (father) I was gonna get it and he got all teary-eyed and he said, 'Well, you're running out of real estate, so don't get it too big.'"
