Kim Kardashian isn't ashamed of her so-called mom jeans.
The 29-year-old star wrote a blog defense of a recent high-waisted ensemble.
"For some reason, high-waisted jeans are always branded with this negative term, and I think it's kind of ridiculous," Kardashian complained.
"I don't think these are mom jeans at all," she added.
"Even if they are, who's to say any mom wouldn't look fabulous in them!?"
Kardashian isn't the only star targeted for her belly-button-grazing bottoms: Jessica Simpson and Mischa Barton also stirred up frenzies for similar numbers.
"Any woman who is proud of her curves should be able to flaunt them in high-waisted jeans!" Kardashian declared.
"I'm proud to rock the mom jeans!"
