In the issue Ashlee talks about older sis Jessica Simpson:
“She’s gorgeous; she’s absolutely stunning. If you were to meet her in person you’d be like, ‘Oh my God.’ She doesn’t need an ounce of makeup; she’s just one of those people who has always been beautiful.”
She also talks about being in hubby Pete Wentz’s hometown of Chicago:
“Right when I land, it’s such a breath of fresh air. I love the cold and the snow. Driving into Pete’s hometown is amazing—I always see that church and I know we’re almost there! It’s a beautiful place to be, and you really feel like it’s the holidays.”
Ashlee talks about Chicago in comparison to L.A.:
“Chicago is not a city that represents vanity and such rude, wrong words. It’s a place of warm, loving people.”
