Daniel Radcliffe is EW's Entertainer of the Year

Daniel Radcliffe has been crowned 'Entertainer of the Year' in the annual Entertainment Weekly award, beating out the likes of Adele and Hugh Jackman.

The 'Harry Potter' star earned his award not only for his success with the Boy Wizard, the franchise of which came to an end this year, but also for the bright future that lies ahead.

Editor Jess Cagle described Radcliffe as: "The nicest guy with one of the brightest futures in Hollywood. There's nothing he can't do. Ultimately there was one person who made the most sense."
