The Back to Black singer was admitted to a London medical centre earlier this week to be treated for what was believed to be complications with her medication.
But her father Mitch Winehouse insists it was because she trouble with her new chest.
Speaking on his online show Mitch Winehouse's Showbiz Rant, Mitch said as he pointed to his chest: "It wasn't because she had a cold. She's fine, she just had a little leaky something or other."
A friend of the star added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "She saw something oozing out of her top. To see stuff seeping out was horrible."

Amy Winehouse has put her newly enhanced breasts on full display.
Winehouse, in photos that surfaced, turned up in Camden, in London, in a deeply scooped T-shirt that showed the full-frontal view of her new bust, adorned in pink lacy bra.
Winehouse is said to be blissed out over her op and considering more surgical enhancement to her breasts and buttocks.
Singer Amy Winehouse shocked onlookers when her breasts busted out of her top. The Rehab hitmaker, who recently shelled out 35,000 pounds on a breast enhancement surgery, was snapped as her new 32D chest slipped out of her flowery corset.
The 26-year-old's wardrobe malfunction was said to be her second slip-up after she failed to turn up on time at an awards bash earlier, reports the Sun. Amy was due to present a trophy to The Specials at the Q Awards at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.
But the star went missing during the time and later appeared on the stage just as the band was leaving.

Apparently Amy Winehouse's dad isn't the only one who happens to think his daughter's newly augmented breasts are "great."
The singer, and sometimes rapper, showed up today at the Q Awards in London and proudly put her purchased parts on display.

Now, we know we're not exactly the purveyors of good taste, but even this picture of America's Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry jacking up and pretending to inject herself with heroin for an Amy Winehouse Halloween costume is just a bit too much...
Everyone knows she should be pretending to smoke crack instead (we're joking)!
Adrianne was at the Hollywood Toys & Costumes store in LA chosing her Halloween outift (maybe she should just stick to the traditional slutty devil/nurse/sailor option etc) while being filmed for a US show while wearing the ill-advised Amy costume (which actually was just a crap wig, studded belt and fake hypodermic needle).

Amy is hoping to land a deal worth more than $750,000 to launch the fragrance with her name on the label, under the guidance of her dad, Mitch.
A source tells British tabloid the Daily Star, "Mitch is keen to license Amy's name to a perfume house. He has been in talks with manufacturers and contacted PR firms for advice. They want it to reflect her style with a classic smoky 1950s look and smell. Amy is keen to expand her brand and wants to latch on to the celeb perfumes bandwagon while she can."

Neither Winehouse, 25, nor Fielder-Civil, 27, were present for the brief proceedings at the High Court's family division, the Press Association reported.
The couple married in Miami in May 2007, but since then Winehouse has been treated for drug addiction and Fielder-Civil has spent time in prison.

According to tabloid tales she was cooking pasta for er, Rasta friends when a saucepan of boiling water tipped over.
She was later pictured walking along the beach in St Lucia with burns clearly showing on her thigh and shin.

Continuing her 2nd stint on St. Lucia this year, Amy Winehouse was spotted gallivanting on the beach with a gal pal earlier today.
The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress donned a black bikini top and a pair of denim cutoffs with a yellow scarf tied around her midsection and went for a walk along the sun soaked shores of the Caribbean paradise.
