Avril Lavigne is known for her mall-punk style, seldom abandoning her Hot Topic-inspired wardrobe, but the singer shows off her sultry side in the new music video for "Goodbye."
Lavigne spends the entire video moping around a hotel room at the Chateau Marmont in L.A., while wearing skimpy black lingerie and a blond wig, and shaving her legs with a bottle of wine.
The song is on her latest album, "Goodbye Lullaby," and we can only guess that the lyrics "Goodbye brown eyes/Goodbye for now/Goodbye sunshine/Take care of yourself" are referring to ex-husband Deryck Whibley, who actually helped produce six songs on the record, though they divorced in 2010.

Pop star Avril Lavigne has split from Kim Kardashian’s half-brother Brody Jenner, according to reports.
The reality TV star and pop punk Lavigne have been dating since shortly after she split from her husband, Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley at the end of 2009, but now editors at Life & Style magazine claim the stars have gone their separate ways.
According to the publication, they were divided on their views of marriage.
A source tells the magazine, “They decided to end their relationship. . . . She wanted to settle down, but he wasn’t exactly ready. They had been having problems starting in the summer with her tour because she was on the road all the time. It put a strain on their relationship.”
Lavigne and Jenner have yet to comment on the split reports.

It’s good to know that there is no love lost between Avril Lavigne and her ex-husband Deryck Whibley. The two former lovers were spotted enjoying a St. Tropez vacation with a large group of friends on a yacht earlier this week.
The "Sk8er Boi" singer was clearly enjoying her time on the private luxury yacht as she showed off her toned figure in a purple and black striped two-piece and later flexed her muscles by engaging in a push-up contest with a female pal.
The 26-year-old Canadian beauty was all giggles when she took a dip in the crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea with a pink Hello Kitty boogie board.

Avril Lavigne was spotted having a grand old time aboard a yacht off the coast of Saint Tropez with some of her girlfriends and she looked like she was really enjoying herself.
The group of girls were photographed having a dance party on the boat before taking the fête into the water. (Check out the photo of Lavigne's leap into the sea, below.) The 26-year-old Canadian swung her shirt around her head as she and her pals laughed and danced the day away.

Avril Lavigne has got a new tattoo following a "girl's night out".
The Canadian singer made the spontaneous decision to visit the Shamrock Social Club tattoo parlour, in Hollywood, on Saturday to get a safety pin etched onto her neck following a day with her friends.
She wrote on her twitter page earlier in the day: "Girls day!!!!!! Listening to my new record with my girls and catching up ... Love u babeskis. (sic)"
Soon after, she added: "Uh-oh girls day turning into girls night. Should I get a tattoo???? Haha. (sic)"
