The as-yet-untitled album marks the follow-up to her 2006 disc "B'Day," which opened at No. 1 on the U.S. pop chart in September 2006. Her first album apart from Destiny's Child, the 2003 release "Dangerously in Love," also went to No. 1.
Columbia said the new album was Beyonce's "most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date," and noted that she co-wrote and co-produced all the songs.
Two tracks from the album, "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies," will be sent to radio on October 7.

Justin Timberlake recently reveals that he is working on a new song in collaboration with Beyonce Knowles. "I'll be in the studio this week with Beyonce. Who knows what will come out of that," Justin says in a statement.

Unfortunately, the "Sexyback" singer doesn't give any further explanation regarding the joint force.
Last year, the two pop stars have also collaborated in Justin's song entitled "Until the End of Time". The five-minutes tune appeared in the deluxe edition of Justin's second solo album "Futuresex/Lovesounds (Deluxe Edition)".

Described as her "most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date", the album is credited with her songwriting effort. Two of the singles, "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies", are confirmed for release on October 7

The 26-year-old star - who signed on with the company as a spokesmodel in 2006 - is featured in an advertisement for L'Oréal Paris in the September (08) edition of U.S. women's fashion magazine Elle.
The magazine includes a full-length head shot of the former Destiny's Child singer as she pitches a hair-highlighting product - shocking readers who noticed her apparent change in appearance, according to the New York Post.

Rapper Jay-Z must have just discovered that watermelons vaguely resemble breasts. According to U.K. magazine Female First, he demanded that a watermelon be carved into the shape of wife Beyonce Knowles' breasts during his stay in Africa.
The "99 Problems" rapper had the watermelon sculpture delivered to his $5,000 per night hotel room after his performance at the third annual Thisday Africa Rising Music Festival.
"One giant watermelon was split in two and ornately carved into a mold of Beyonce's breasts," a source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper. "Two cherries were used as nipples."
In other news of excess, Jay-Z also recently took his entire entourage out for a lavish $20,000 meal after he performed at a concert in Paris, France.
