Academy of Country Music Awards, Season 4 American Idol winner Carrie Underwood performed “Walk This Way” with wisecracking Idol judge/Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. “I want his shoe collection, for sure,” Underwood said of her blinged-out duet partner on the Tonight Show. “First thing I noticed—he’s got like scarves and Swarovski crystals all over his shoes.”
She also discussed how she voted for herself repeatedly when she was an AI contestant, her love of sporting events and her new movie Soul Surfer.

The American Idol winners, Carrie Underwood received one of CMT's Artist of the Year awards, Tuesday.
According to CMT, Carrie was “on the verge of tears as she addressed the intimate industry crowd, telling them she dreamed of a singing career as a child.”
Smokey Robinson told the crowd that Underwood first impressed him when she appeared on the audition episode of American Idol. Smokey sang a medley of three of Carrie’s biggest hits from the year. OK. I’ve GOT to see that.

According to Radar Online, the newlyweds were photographed arriving at LAX airport yesterday before boarding another plane to their honeymoon destination.
The pair had just flown in from Georgia, where they tied the knot in front of 250 friends and family at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, on Saturday.
Among the celebrities reported to be in attendance at the nuptials were Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
Underwood previously revealed that Fisher was in charge of planning their honeymoon and that her only requirement was that the couple vacation somewhere "warm".

Country music sweetheart Carrie Underwood and hockey player Mike Fisher tied the knot on Saturday at an unidentified "luxury resort," according to People.
"We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!" the couple told the mag, confirming the nuptials.
The ceremony was "a spiritual expression of their love," their wedding planner described.
Underwood wore a Monique Lhuillier dress. The wedding was complete with classical music and readings from the bible.
The pair announced their engagement in December. Underwood is a winner of "American Idol" and Grammys. Fisher has played 10 seasons for the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators.
