Lindsay Lohan may find herself once again in a Linda Lovelace situation.
Ace Show Biz reported the 25-year-old actress has been in early talks to play the late Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime biopic about the legendary actress’s romantic life titled Liz and Dick.
But now, it looks like the Mean Girls has got some competition from her Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen co-star Megan Fox.
Liz and Dick’s executive producer, Larry Thompson, told E! News that while Lohan is being seriously considered and has already been contacted about the role, he has also “been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox.”
Thompson didn’t spill any more details about the casting negotiations, but added that negotiations with several actresses at once isn’t an insult to the actresses’ level of talent.
"It's a very serious selection," he said. "It's like casting for Hollywood royalty."
A source told E! News that Lohan’s probation status is “a complication” that needs to be factored into the casting decision-making.

The 77-year-old actress tells her Twitter followers that she is going to undergo a "very new" procedure to improve heart function that "involves repairing my leaky valve using a clip device" rather than open-heart surgery.
"Any prayers you happen to have lying around I would dearly appreciate," Taylor wrote Tuesday, adding that she will let her nearly 160,000 Twitter followers -- she's been @DameElizabeth since March 31 -- know when the procedure is complete.
No word on where or when.
The Associated Press had not heard back from Taylor's rep.

Guttman said he had no further details. A person who answered a call placed to Taylor's home Thursday, who would not give her full name, said only that Taylor's condition was "nothing to worry about."

Instead of having a Easter party,;she\'s planning her own funeral.
Liz Taylor took a turn for the worst quite quickly. It happened right before her annual Easter party, that was sadly cancelled. Family and friends are making arrangements for her funeral because of how rapidly she is fading. She has requested to be buried next to her former husband RICHARD BURTON in Switzerland.
Liz knows she is dying and not at peace with it. She will be leaving most of her fortune to AIDS research and not much to her grown children.
