Elle Macpherson is banning girls from auditioning in bikinis for the new series of Britain's Next Top Model.
The 48-year-old hosts the show and said she felt uncomfortable for the girls as they auditioned in front of the judges.
She said to UK newspaper The Sun: 'We started off putting the girls in bathing suits, but when I saw the first lot come in I just thought: 'I can't do this to them. It's not fair.'
'It just felt inappropriate. It is very uncomfortable for a girl to stand in front of people like this - naked and freezing cold.'
She added: 'I am really interested in the personalities of the girls and that is often projected in the way they dress.'

Former supermodel Elle Macpherson suffered a wardrobe malfunction when her loose top gave away to reveal her assets at a recent photocall.
The 47-year-old whose enviable figure earned her the nickname 'The Body', was at the launch party of the TV show'Britain's Next Top Model', when the embarrassing incident happened, reported Daily Mail online.
The Australian-born beauty wore a pair of astonishingly tight PVC trousers, paired with a loose white T-shirt. But as she was getting out of the car, the gaping sleeves of her top revealed her breasts, in front of the assembled paparazzi.
But Macpherson, who is mother to two young children, recovered quickly and went on to pose on the red carpet.
Elle MacPherson headed back to the 80s rock era at Paris Fashion Week by showcasing some tight black leather trousers.
Looking glamorous as ever, the 46-year-old Australian model paired the chic trousers with a grey baggy t-shirt, a black cardigan, over-sized grey scarf and her famous smile.
The model mother was backstage at the Louis Vuitton Ready to Wear show for the Fall/Winter 2011 collection at Cour Carree du Louvre.

Elle has been on the market since splitting from Arpad Busson in 2005, and Guy has already been linked to a string of glamorous ladies since separating from Madge last year.
