The famous celebrity couple Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey have split. The news of Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy split was not only confirmed by the publicist of Jim Carrey but also by the stars themselves. Both Jim Carrey and then Jenny McCarthy, went on to make their split public through their respective “twitter” posts where they posted the message on Tuesday afternoon.
On Tuesday afternoon, it was Jim Carrey who first tweeted the split message in his account. The actor mentioned that they have ended their five year old relationship and that he wishes Jenny McCarthy all the luck in her life. He also took the opportunity to thank his former partner for the memories that they have shared. Jenny McCarthy’s twitter message came within half an hour of that of Jim Carrey where she repeated the same news and added that she will maintain the her relationship with Jim Carrey’s daughter, Jane as she had done before. Jenny McCarthy also mentioned that the actor will always hold an important place in her heart.

Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor were made Chevalier Des Arts Et Des Lettres by the Minister Culture Frederic Mitterrand at the Ministry of Culture in Paris, France today (February 1).
“I love you Jim Carrey! I love you Ewan McGregor!” Mr. Mitterrand proclaimed in reference to I Love You Phillip Morris, the film produced by Luc Besson and in which they play the vicissitudes of a couple of men who fall in love in prison.
“I am especially proud that I am both an American and Canadian citizen, my roots are French,” said Jim during his thank-you speech, recalling that his family had left St. Malo 200 years ago for Canada.
For his part, Ewan said: “Receiving this distinction in France, the land of my summer holidays when I was a kid, where I met my wife (Eve Mavrakis) and the region of Franche-Comte, fills my heart with joy.”
The pair were so overcome with the honor that they instantly broke into a French kiss before addressing the press.

They have laughed off reports they are engaged and plan to elope in September.
The National Enquirer printed about Carrey and McCarthy that they were planning to elope Labor Day weekend. All lies!
Both Carrey and McCarthy's reps both claim that there is no engagement between the couple or at least not yet.
Jenny just split with husband John Asher last August, while Carrey has been married twice.
McCarthy revealed, "Jim's an amazing man and I'm very happy."

They were hiding their togetherness, but no more.
The Cable Guy comedian was caught kissing McCarthy before they hopped into their limousine for a romantic getaway. The couple supposedly went to dine on board the Queen Mary first before flying out of town.
McCarthy and Carrey have been seeing each other on the sly since late last year. This would be the first time they have been caught on film together.

Supposedly, the non-couple have been "doing it" since last year. A reporter last December asked Carrey if he was dating Jenny, his answer: "I like her, she's a nice person." That was it!!!
