The host of the US TV talk show 'The View', Barbara Walters, has been quizzing actress Kate Hudson and cycling champion Lance Armstrong about their rumoured romance.
According to Fox News, when Walters asked Hudson, 29, if they were dating, the actress burst into laughter and said: "I think somebody told me he was going to be on the show next week.
"You should ask him..."
Yesterday Armstrong, 36, appeared on the show and when he was asked he smiled and said: "Number one, I know you have to ask that question. And it's my right not to answer it.
"Number two, I think when you're happy about something or proud about something, I think it's natural in human nature to talk about it.
"But I'm not going to answer it. Next question!"
Armstrong and Hudson have been romantically linked since they were spotted kissing at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
People Magazine also reported that they had been seen dining and spending time together in Austin, Texas.

Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner date at restaurant Daniel in New York City. And they both looked happy to be together.
The “Fool’s Gold” hottie sported a floral-patterned halter-style top underneath a white sweater jacket with a pair of vintage jeans and peep-toe shoes, while her cycling beau rocked a black button-up shirt with jeans and Nike.
Kate Hudson accompanied rumoured boyfriend Lance Armstrong to Canada at the weekend for a charity bike ride.
The 'Fool's Gold' actress and the cycling champion - who reportedly began dating last month - travelled to Ontario where Lance was joined by 40 local residents for the 117-kilometre race to help raise over $1 million on Saturday (14.06.08).
The Ride With Lance event was held to benefit cancer research at two hospitals, Grand River Hospital in Kitchener and Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.
Before the race, Kate and Lance - who has battled testicular cancer in the past - spent a romantic few days together.
They had a mini vacation in Muskoka where Kate's mother, Goldie Hawn, has a cabin.
On Friday (13.06.08), Kate took her four-year-old son Ryder out for lunch and ice cream in the trendy Toronto Yorkville shopping district and was also spotted with Lance's children, Luke, eight, and six-year-old twin girls Grace and Isabelle, while he prepared for the race.
Later that night, the couple were seen canoodling in the lobby of their hotel.

Along with appearing on Conan O'Brien on Monday, Kate Hudson appeared on CBS's The Early Show on, along with David Babaii.
They are doing their rounds to promote David Babaii for Wildaid, which is a 10-piece line that consists of products such as shampoos, conditioners, and pomades. Everything is natural and recyclable.
Kate is also appearing on ABC's The View on Wednesday.
The actor visited a strip club in Philadelphia last week, where he drank beer and enjoyed several private dances.
An onlooker said: "He spent four hours at Rick's Cabaret and was in an upbeat mood. He watched a game, drank beer, and when a parade of 75 half-naked girls caught his eye, he asked for dances from several and definitely had a preference for blondes. He tipped at least one with a $100 bill."
One blonde beauty - who bore a striking resemblance to Kate - then spent some private time in a VIP area with Owen.
She told the New York Post newspaper: "If he had any problems, you'd never know it. He didn't seem upset in the least. People tell me I look like Kate, and it didn't bother him at all."

Kate Hudson has a new leading man in her life - after reportedly falling for U.S. sports star Lance Armstrong.
After hitting it off at a recent dinner party, the actress is said to have flown from New York on a private jet to spend a romantic weekend (begs17May08) with the cycling ace at his home in Austin, Texas.
Earlier this month (May08), Hudson was rumoured to be engaged to on-off boyfriend Owen Wilson - but sources claim that at the time of the reports, the 29-year-old had already secretly begun dating Armstrong, 36.
An insider tells British newspaper The Mail On Sunday, "Kate and Lance have been dating for a couple of weeks. She thought it was really funny when people were writing recently that she was engaged to Owen, because the reality was that they had split again and she was secretly seeing Lance.
"She and Lance are both physical, passionate people - she's never been happier."
Armstrong was previously engaged to singer Sheryl Crow.

Representatives for Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have denied that the couple are engaged.
'Fool's Gold' star Hudson sparked rumours of an engagement after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger outside a restaurant in Boston last week.
The News of the World quoted a source as saying: "Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she's the woman he wants to be with for ever. The engagement is a natural step for them both."
However, Hudson's representatives have been quick to deny the story stating that the ring was merely a prop for a movie the divorced star is filming. Her representative told OK! Magazine: "She's filming a movie called 'Bride Wars'! She is not engaged."
A representative for Wilson also denied the rumours.
The Hollywood couple met on the set of 'You, Me and Dupree' in 2006 and were romantically linked later that year, after Hudson split from her husband of six years, Black Crowes star Chris Robinson.
Hudson and Wilson parted ways last June but in recent months the couple have reunited and were spotted with Wilson's parents on Hudson's 29th birthday last month.

Security around Kate Hudson's latest movie Bride Wars is on high-alert after a man allegedly expressed an "unhealthy interest" in the actress, according to reports.
Neil Bergman of Whitefield, New Hampshire, was arraigned last week (begs28Apr08) on burglary charges in Boston Municipal Court, in Massachusetts, and sent away for a 30-day mental evaluation, reports the Boston Herald.
Sources claim that after the 44-year-old was apprehended, he ranted to cops about Hudson and her mother, actress Goldie Hawn, causing authorities to warn the actress' security detail about Bergman.
Elaine Driscoll, a spokesperson for the Boston Police Department, says, "This suspect made statements to the arresting officers that indicated the individual had an unhealthy interest in Kate Hudson. As a matter of caution, we alerted her security."
Police supposedly found two axes, computer equipment, outdoor flower pots, an Elvis plate, a Christmas tree and women's clothing in Bergman's 2000 Honda Civic.
