Penio Daskalov, 24, once tricked housemates on Bulgarian 'Big Brother' into thinking he was a woman. He hopes that turning himself into Lady Gaga through a full sex change and cosmetic surgery will jump-start his music career.
"I really admire the way she has created herself, so when I've had my operations I won't be quite a man or quite a woman," Daskalov told Radar. "I've already contacted her management and told them what I am doing and how I'd like to record a duet with her."

Lady Gaga drew a massive crowd for her performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago Friday night, but even before she started her set--she surprised some fans at a smaller stage.
Gaga joined Semi Precious Weapons at the BMI stage Friday afternoon--where she performed in 2007. The band's front man Justin Tranter called Gaga to the stage, and she then jumped into the excited crowd. One excited fan even decided to lick her stomach.
"If anyone calls Lady Gaga a pop star I'll f***king kill them," Tranter told the crowd. "She is a rock star, and she is helping, Semi Precious Weapons, bring rock'n'roll back. Rock'n'roll is back b**ches!"
Lady Gaga is leading the way at this year's MTV Video Music Awards with a record 13 nominations.
The kooky singer - who won three gongs for her 'Poker Face' and 'Paparazzi' videos at last year's ceremony - was also nominated for a further five awards for her 'Video Phone' collaboration with Beyonce Knowles.
The 'Bad Romance' hitmaker said: "Ironically, I'm even more proud it's an unlucky number; 13. A long time ago the world told me and my little monsters we would never be heard, together we changed the rules."
Lady Gaga has received two nods for the coveted Video of the Year award, as well as nominations for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Best Choreography, among others.
Reacting to her record-breaking list of nominations, she tweeted: "13 VMA noms lilmonsters. Breakin records+breakin rüles. I love you, you Bad Kids are a part of me. PAWS UP! #VideoMonsterAwards.(sic)"

The singer, who is often pictured holding a tea cup, is understood to have attracted the attention of several brands.
But it is the English tea maker Twinings that has emerged as a front-runner to secure her name.
"They want to launch a new tea with her face on it and discussions are taking place at the top level," a source told The Sun.
Tasters are apparently working to create a new tea with an oriental flavor in a bid to attract a younger audience.
"Names like The Taste Of GaGa are being batted about," the insider added.

Despite the unfriendly weather, Lady GaGa, who likes to show off her bra in concerts, gave it her best when performing for NBC's 'Today Show'.
The rain did not stop Lady GaGa from performing all-out at NBC's "Today Show". Among the bizarre acts that she did at the Friday, July 9 concert were wearing disco ball eyeglasses and bra with jewels forming a crucifix, and climbing up her grand white piano.
GaGa opened the set with a medley of Ira Gershwin's "Someone to Watch Over Me" and her own single "Bad Romance" before delighting fans with her new song "You and I". The show's host Meredith Vieira watched her from far, wearing a cigarette glasses that GaGa made famous of in "Telephone" video.

The "Alejandro" singer was deemed an obvious contender for the "Best New Artist" category this year but was ignored because she had been unsuccessful in being nominated for "Best Single" the previous year.
According to Ace Showbiz, outcry amongst fans has prompted Grammy bosses to amend rules on the eligibility process, meaning acts who weren't nominated for "Best Single" in the previous year are now eligible for the "Best New Artist" award.
Officials have also changed the rules for classical music producers, who can now be considered for "Producer of the Year" by submitting one song, opposed to previous years' three.
GaGa was still awarded two prizes at this year's Grammys, for "Best Dance Recording" for "Poker Face" and "Best Electronica/Dance Album" for The Fame.
