Word on the street for quite some time has been that newly-single Lindsay Lohan is strapped for cash and unemployed, but it looks as though the 22-year-old may have finally found her forte: starring in a topless show in Sin City.
Lohan flew from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on Saturday on the private plane of the producer of Mel B. and Kelly Monaco's "Peepshow" to attend the grand opening of the sexy striptease production, but made the trip more importantly because she had a meeting scheduled with director and Broadway big-wig, Jerry Mitchell.
"Peepshow" is designed to have rotating leads and according to very close inside sources, Lohan is in official negotiations to take over from Monaco who wants to move on and get back to work on "General Hospital," however Mel B. reportedly intends to stay on once her three-month contract is finished.
"People forget that she (Lohan) is a "triple threat" — she can act and sing and dance," said our source. "She feels that this would really revitalize her career and give her some serious theater cred."
The "Mean Girl" was even overheard gushing to Mel B. as they headed to the after-party at Planet Hollywood’s Prive nightclub about how much she loved the provocative production and how much she trusts Mitchell to direct her in an on-stage striptease.
"If they make me an offer, and the money’s right, I’ll do it," Lohan reportedly said.
We’re told the producers are very interested and would be "more than happy" to take the risk of having the "reformed rehabber" come on-board, but apparently it’s a toss between Lohan, Holly Madison and Brooke Burke for the racy role. So if Lohan does get the adults-only gig, she’ll play "Bo Peep," a timid girl who the Diva (played by Mel B.) guides in her transformation into a confident, sensual woman while surrounded by a slew of semi-naked burlesque beauties.
We've also been told that the former "Scary Spice" and Lohan have become pretty close and that Brown is pushing for Lilo to snag the job. The two ladies stayed at the afterparty chatting until 3 a.m. and so much for sobreity — Linds made no attempt to hide that she was drinking vodka and soda with a splash of cranberry.

The Sun is reporting that the recently single star was spotted desperately trying to catch the attention of the actor at Hollywood hotspot MyHouse on Wednesday night. Leonardo DiCaprio is currently dating supermodel Bar Rafaeli.
A source claims, "As soon as Lindsay saw Leo she was like a bee to honey. She was going for the big catch and when she spotted him in a dark corner of the club she headed straight for him. She quickly monopolised his conversation and made sure she had him all to herself.

Lindsay - with her front orange and her back still pale - was out with a whole host of other stars at a glitzy bash to launch a new watch in Los Angeles.
Despite the drama surrounding Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson's break up it seems the DJ still has feelibgs for her troubled ex.
Sam - who has reportedly told pals that she's relieved to finally be rid of all the drama that surrounds Lindsay - let her resolve slip for a brief moment as paparazzi tailed her to Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies yesterday afternoon.
When asked by X17 whether she misses her former flame Sam replied, "Of course," before heading inside to purchase a dog bowl for her pet pooch Cadillac.
The photographer at the scene said: "I can tell that she's really having a hard time with the breakup.
"She looked visibly upset when I mentioned Lindsay's name."

According to reports, Ronson was seen canoodling with the look-alike at L.As Chateau Marmont hotel.
"She was clearly with another woman - quite a Lindsay lookalike but with very dark hair. They sure looked very cosy, if you know what I mean," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling the Daily Mirror.

Lindsay Lohan is taking centre stage in a new comedy video, in which the Mean Girl mocks her recent break up with Samantha Ronson.
The actress - whose rocky romance with lesbian lover Sam came to an emotional end last weekend - has let her hair down amidst post-break up drama by parodying the dating service eHarmony.
In the video - posted on Funny or Die - Lindsay advertises herself as, "recently single... I think," and goes onto say that she doesn't want to date someone whose family members will take out a restraining order against her.
She finishes her "dating ad" with: "So if you think you can handle a red head with a little bit of sass and by that I mean crazy.
"I mean don't pretend you don't know me, we've all read about it."
Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com is reporting that Sam has been doing some mocking of her own.
At a recent gig in San Francisco the DJ was heard making a tribute to Lindsay before shouting: “Na na na na, hey, hey, goodbye."

Lindsay Lohan has got herself a new tattoo in the wake of her split from DJ Samantha Ronson.
People.com reports that the 22-year-old actress had a Marilyn Monroe quote inked on her inner wrist in West Hollywood last week.
It reads: "Everyone's a star and deserves the right to twinkle," and the words are surrounded by yellow, blue and green stars.
LiLo's admiration of the late Hollywood legend is well known. Last year, she recreated Marilyn's famous 1962 nude photo shoot for New York magazine.
A source tells the website that Lindsay has been struggling since her split with Samantha.
"She feels alone. All of their mutual friends have turned on her. She's 22 but this would be tough to handle at any age."

Lindsay Lohan was seen Wednesday night getting herself a new tattoo after news broke earlier this week that she and her DJ girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, broke up.
The actress was seen smiling when she arrived at the Shamrock Social Club tattoo parlor in Los Angeles at around midnight. Her teenage sister, Ali, was by her side. It's the same tattoo parlor where Lohan and her pal, Lily Allen, got "Shhhh" finger tattoos, according to UsMagazine.com.
The site also reported that Lohan got the new ink on her wrist. There's no word on what Lohan got tattooed, but the pair reportedly left at around 3 a.m. In addition to the ink, Lohan was also seen on at Byron & Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills dying her hair back to red.
Before she made her way over to the tattoo parlor, Lohan, Ali and their mom Dina were seen dining at Nobu. Sources tell the magazine that the "wafer-thin" Lohan appeared "stressed out and anxious but didn't drink any alcohol, instead opting for a few edamame and bites of a cucumber salad."
Sources added that before the Lohans left, "The Hills" star Frankie Delgado, who recently denied he was flirting with Rihanna, was seen flirting with Lohan, but she "seemed uninterested as Delgado attempted to give her an awkward smooch on the cheek. He ended up kissing her hair instead."

Samantha Ronson’s family are reportedly seeking a restraining order against Lindsay Lohan after the couple’s recent split.
Us Weekly reports that Sam’s sister and mother have spoke to police about getting a court order against the Mean Girls actress.
Lohan was refused entry to a party at the weekend for clothing designer Charlotte Ronson and was reportedly restrained by five bouncers.
On her Twitter at the weekend LiLo alleged that Samanatha had cheated on her and wrote:
“PLEASE leave me ALONE. and stop staying in the room below me, you've woken me and my mother up. go to bed. keep cheating u win.”
