Looking red-carpet ready in an elegant tux, Matthew fronts the campaign for Dolce & Gabbana’s newest scent, The One Gentleman.
"A gentleman has respect for himself, that is the basis of his respect and consideration for others," he explains of the inspiration behind the new scent. Daughter Vida Alves McConaughey arrived Sunday, Jan. 3 at 12:13 a.m., Matthew announced on his Web site. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz and joins big brother Levi, 17 months.
" 'Vida' is Portuguese for 'life' and that's what God gave us this morning," the actor blogged. "Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks."

The 'Failure to Launch' actor remained with Brazilian model Camila, 24, as she gave birth to a 7lb 4oz baby boy at 6.22pm last night.
He said: "A healthy baby boy was born. Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world - having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure - raising one, together."
The name of the couple's new son has not yet been revealed.

That\'s f#@king hilarious!
Absolute hottest guys in Hollywood, Lance Armstrong and Matthew McConaughey, are being asked if they're gay! That's freakin' hilarious! Can't guys have good buddies without rumors being spread that their homos? Apparently not.
"Now, there's a thought. But really it's not for us," McConaughey jokes in a recent interview with Details magazine, that also addresses rumors about pal Jake Gyllenhaal being gay.
Armstrong and McConaughey have known each other for eight years. And yes they have been seen often with their shirts off – biking, running and raising hell together, but jeez they're just buddies.
He has theory about Hollywood rumors, "It's either you sleep with anything that walks or you're freakin' gay."
McConaughey further defends his friendship saying, "We have a friendship and brotherhood. He's always there for me and likewise for him. Its fun going out and living life and being spontaneous. Lance is the best!"

This is why Matthew has been working out lately so intensely - he can't make promises on the tape if he's not in great shape.
The legendary cyclist Lance Armstrong will be contributing to Matthew's project and giving tips throughout the DVD.
The source added: "Matt hopes other celebrity friends will also accept and give tips for a better fitness workout. And maybe even help promote it."
