Nelly Furtado is the latest artist to be signed up to perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas next month, along with Gym Class Heroes and Common.
The singer has been nominated for Female Artist of the Year alongside Fergie, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna and Beyonce.
She will join the likes of Timbaland, the Foo Fighters and Winehouse who are also due to perform, although Lily Allen has been forced to pull out over US visa problems.
Gym Class Heroes have been nominated for Best New Artist and Best New Group.

Nelly Furtado has got engaged to her Cuban boyfriend, Demacio 'Demo' Castellon, according to mutual friend Timbaland.
The 'Maneater' singer has been dating the sound engineer since they worked together with music producer Timbaland on her album Loose.
Rumours have been rife since Furtado was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger last month but according to People magazine, Timbaland has now confirmed it is true.
The singer has a three-year-old daughter with former partner DJ Jasper 'Lil' Jaz' Gahunia.

The Canadian pop star Nelly Furtado is set to appear on ABC's One Life to Live on Feb. 23. Furtado will play herself, singing at a night club owned by the character Antonio Vega, played by actor Kamar de los Reyes.
She'll perform her current single "Say It Right" and hit song "Promiscuous."
Executive producer Frank Valentini tells the soap site that the show always looks for opportunities to collaborate with music performers.
Other artists that have stopped by the show this year include Mary J. Blige, Lifehouse and Tito Puente Jr.

Nelly Furtado is no longer a feminist mostly because she fears she was "brainwashed" into hating men.
The Promiscuous singer admits she was women's rights advocate when she first became a singer, but now she has a "secret boyfriend" and a single mom.
She reveals: "I went through a feminist phase and read a lot of philosophical stuff.
