According to the New York Post, the posh penthouse was purchased by one of Oprah's companies, Sofie's Penthouse LLC, named after her beloved pooch, Sofie, who just passed away. The penthouse has 3 bedrooms, 3 ? baths, a large living room/dining room area, along with a 768-square foot wraparound terrace.

50 Cent may have the lungs to sing a great rap but he has no right to bad mouth one of the most powerful women in the world! He has accused Oprah Winfrey of becoming a white girl because of all her money and fame. 50 Cent has actually accused Oprah of trashing her African American roots.
In a recent interview with Elle magazine, 50 Cents he slammed Oprah:
"She started as a fine black woman, giving her black women's views but now she's a middle-aged ‘stepford’ white American woman. Now, that she's a filthy-rich, African American women have an inspiration or do they? I don't know that many black women who want to be 'white girl-want-a-bees'."
Daytime talk show host Oprah, is one of the richest black women in America. She is worth $1.5 billion! Maybe 50 Cents is just jealous -because she's black and making a shit more dough than him!

What\'s up with Oprah and the rappers?
The rappers are accusing Oprah Winfrey of being prejudiced against hip hop artists.
Ice Cube has been involved in several projects pitched to her, but never invited to participate. “For Barbershop, she had Cedric the Entertainer and Eve on, but I wasn’t invited. Maybe she’s got a problem with hip-hop.” Cube adds: “She’s had damn rapists, child molesters and lying authors on her show. On the show that day, Ludacris came on as a actor but got chewed for being a rapper!
The drama between these two has been going on for months. It intially started when Ludacris appeared on an Oprah Show last year. The show had most of the cast from CRASH, and they discussed race relations, etc. If you caught the show, you could see she didn’t hold back on him. She criticized his use of words like ‘bitches’ and ‘hoes’ in his music and she also wouldn’t let him respond. She also kept singling him out, as her audience clapped away.
“She edited out a lot of my comments while keeping her own in. Of course, it’s her show, but we were doing a show on racial discrimination and she gave me a hard time as a rapper when I came on there as an actor,” said Ludacris.

Oprah Winfrey has decided against hosting the 2006 Tony Awards. Talk show queen still plans to attend the annual celebration.
Hugh Jackman, who wowed Broadway in "The Boy From Oz," has hosted the awards night for the past three years.
The Tonys, produced by the American Theatre Wing, the League of American Theatres and Producers, will be held June 11, 2006, at Radio City Music Hall and telecast by CBS. Nominations will be announced May 16.

Just because his publisher chose to say that these were memoirs, it took it out of being a work of fiction, a great work of fiction and very well-written. This guy having to go be sucker-punched on ‘Oprah’ by one of the most powerful women in television just to grind her own ax about it.
Hey, Oprah," Willis continues. "You had President Clinton on your show and if this [bleep] didn’t lie about a couple of things, I’m going to set myself on fire right now. James Frey is a writer, OK? He can write whatever he wants. It’s fiction, and it’s just hard, it’s just shameful how he was treated in some of these things."
