With Britney Spears back to her best and newly engaged we knew it wouldn’t be long until she was making hit music again and now rumours have emerged that she will be collaborating with Columbian sex-pot Shakira.
If that was not enough star power on one track, Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am is reportedly co-producing it the song along with N.E.R.D’s Pharrell Williams.
Pharrell, who featured on the blonde bombshell’s sexy hit ‘Boys’ revealed recently how he made the collaboration happen.
According to Heat Magazine, the rapper said: “"I have proposed to [Spears's label] Jive Records to bring Shakira into the studio and they thought it was a fabulous idea."
Pharrell who is also working on the track admitted that he is desperate for the song to be a success and won’t rest until it is perfect. He went on: “I want to make it happen. I want an explosive duet and won't sleep easy until I see it."

The "Hips Don't Lie" singer posted a picture of her shortened coif via Twitter, as she wrote, "Hace 4 horas estoy estrenando corte de pelo!! 4 hours ago I got my hair cut!"
The luscious Latina flaunted her fab figure in teeny tiny pink bikini, engaging in a full-on PDA fest with her footballer beau Gerard Pique on the Spanish Island of Ibiza.
The couple, who was on vacation on the swanky island, couldn’t keep their hands or lips off of each other, as they sunbathed on the roof of their vacation rental .
Shakira won two gongs at this year's NRJ Music Awards in Cannes.
The singer was named International Female Artist of the Year and also won International Song of the Year for 'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)' 2010's World Cup Anthem.
The 'Hips Don't Lie' singer also wowed the crowd with two performances, firstly 'Loca' the first single from her new album, and then 'Waka Waka'.
The Colombian singer and Antonio de la Rua mutually decided to "take time apart" last August, ending their romance of more than 10 years.
However, the pair state they "view this period of separation as temporary" and are still working together as business partners.
A post from the couple on Shakira's official website reads: "During our almost 11 years together we have loved each other deeply, taken care of each other and stood by one another. They have been the most wonderful years of our lives.
"However, since August 2010, we made a mutual decision to take time apart from our romantic relationship... We view this period of separation as temporary and as a time of individual growth as we continue to be partners in our business and professional lives."
Shakira adds: "Antonio continues to oversee and conduct my business and career interests as he has always done. We move forward as partners, developing projects together, working hand-in-hand and in close communication. Our friendship and understanding of one another is unwavering and indestructible."
De la Rua, the son of former Argentine President Fernando de la Rua, proposed to the Whenever, Wherever hitmaker in March, 2001.

Shakira will be helping fans to raise a toast over the holidays after filming a TV advertisement for a Spanish sparkling wine company in exchange for a big donation to her charity.
The Hips Don't Lie hitmaker shot the Freixenet cava promo in Barcelona last weekend (20Nov10) and she admits she only agreed to the job after drinks bosses pledged to donate 500,000 Euros ($660,000/£440,000) to her Pies Descalzos organisation.
The money will be used to build one school in Haiti and another in her native Colombia, where charity heads have already established six schools.
She says, "Education is a birthright and a quality education is the only tool that a child has to turn dreams into reality.
"Since I was a girl I have been aware of the tough reality faced by many children."

The 2010 MTV European Music Awards were in Madrid last night, and from Miley to Rihanna, they had some pretty spectacular performers. In my opinion though, Shakira stole the show for two reasons:
1) She actually sounds the same live as she does recorded.
2) Her dance moves.

Always looking fabulous, Shakira turned up as expected for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010 in Madrid.
Shakira looked to be all smiles as she left a local Miami restaurant with her mother. She looks so pretty but certainly didn’t look like she was ready to have her photo snapped. Shakira is carrying a Louis Vuitton denim monogram handbag.
