Kicking off her holiday weekend with a trip to the islands, Sheryl Crow was spotted living it up on the beach in the Bahamas.
Showing off her fit figure in a skimpy bikini at the One and Only Club, the award winning musician was joined by a gal pal and her 3-year-old adopted son, Wyatt Steven Crow.

Sheryl Crow was mere hours away from singing the national anthem, and although she's sung at big events before, the magnitude of performing the final anthem at the last All-Star Game to be played at the "House that Ruth Built" was not lost on the nine-time Grammy Award winner.
"I'm a big baseball fan, and this is very nerve-wracking, only because it's a hard song to sing and it's live," Crow said. "But this is a very special occasion, with this being the last event at Yankee Stadium. It's going to be exciting."
The anthem is notorious for its tough high notes and has never been a favorite for anyone, regardless of how powerful the singer's voice. Crow admitted singing the anthem is a challenge, but one she embraced. Plus, having performed the song before at a Mets-Yankees World Series game in 2000, she has some experience with big sporting events.
"This is such a big honor," Crow said. "It's the national anthem. Obviously, everybody knows it, but it's a special song and it really does get the ballgame off to a start. So you want it to be powerful and full of feeling."

Hey Everybody,
I am so excited to share with you guys that I've adopted a little boy ..he was born 2 weeks ago.
His name is Wyatt (after my dad) Steven (after my little brother and Scooter) and we are enjoying some very private family time.
Just wanted you to be the first to know.

It was announced that Singer Sheryl Crow has has had surgery for breast cancer.
A statement from Sheryl today, she went into the hospital on Wednesday for the treatment. Crow’s doctors have confirmed her prognosis as being excellent and that she will receive radiation treatment as a precaution.
The singer said: "I am joining the more than 200,000 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. We are a testament to the importance of early detection and new treatments ... The much anticipated wedding of Lance Armstrong and Sheryl Crow is officially off.The couple, who released a joint statement through Armstrong’s spokesman to PEOPLE, are calling it quits after two years of dating and an engagement that lasted a little over five months."After much thought and consideration we have made a very tough decision to split up. We both have a deep love and respect for each other and we ask that everyone respect our privacy during this very difficult time," the statement said.Rumors of trouble began surfacing around Christmas, but the couple insisted there was no truth to them and that they were moving forward with wedding plans for this spring.Crow recently tried on wedding gowns, including a Vera Wang with what she said was “a particularly absurd amount of meringue,” for a photo shoot for Allure magazine and told reporters that she would be marrying her cyclist boyfriend in Austin.Armstrong, 34, a Texan, and Crow, 43, born in Missouri, shared a ranch in Austin and were said to be planning to live there together after their wedding.The couple met at a charity event in October 2003 and began dating a short time later. "I knew pretty quickly that I was totally into him,” Crow told PEOPLE in November.Armstrong popped the question in Sun Valley, Idaho, in late August in a proposal Crow called “very romantic.” The marriage would have been Crow's first. Armstrong and wife Kristen divorced in 2003 after five years of marriage; they are parents to son Luke, 6, and twins Isabelle and Grace, 4.
