On "The Tyra Show," host Tyra Banks showed off her Halloween costume -- Kim Kardashian.
Tyra certainly is fierce in her portrayal of reality TV star Kim Kardashian; she's got the walk and pose down pat. We particularly enjoy the accompanying cardboard cut-outs of her sisters Kourtney and Khloe.
But Tyra's lost a lot of weight. Her curves aren't anywhere near Kim's these days.

Banks' online style magazine, Tyra: Beauty Inside & Out, will feature beauty, health, relationship and fashion articles, mainly written by an in-house staff of six. The magazine, which Banks calls a "magaline" will also feature interactive audio posts, and behind-the-scenes footage from The Tyra Show and America's Next Top Model.
Banks was initially offered a print magazine, but reportedly turned it down due to the slump in the print media industry. The online mag is more so O, The Oprah Magazine, with a younger audience in mind, like her talk show enthusiasts.
"I'm really interested in helping women take control of their futures, take control of their destiny," Banks says. "One of my lines in my manifesto on the website is to be the CEO of your own life, be in control of your own life."

After weeks of build up, Tyra Banks kicked off the news of her talk show on Tuesday, Sept. 8 by coming out on stage in her real hair. No weaves. No wigs. No pieces. No falls.
And what does Tyra Banks real hair look like? It's kind of hard to tell.
She arrived with it ... slicked back. So, yes, we confirmed that she does have the highest forehead this side of Queen Elizabeth I. And we know that when wet it comes to just past her shoulders. But, since it was wet it still looked stylish.
Didn't everyone want to see what it's like when allowed to dry naturally? How big is it? How dry is it? What can she do with it?
Tyra explained herself thusly, "Let's talk about my hair right now. I know it's been a big mystery. And it was like an unsolved mystery and I felt like I needed to solve this mystery."

Tyra posted a photo of herself without her trademark lengthy locks on Twitpic on Tuesday afternoon.
"Here's me rockin my REAL hair, had 2 blur it so its still a surprise on Sept 8!" Tyra wrote, referencing the big reveal, which she will show when her talk program, "The Tyra Banks Show," returns to The CW next month.
"Who else is sportin their real hair that day?" she added.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the supermodel-turned-television mogul has declared September 8, "National Real Hair Day."
"We welcome everyone to go natural with me," she previously said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

Her look was very androgynous, and it was cool.
Nearly natural make up and simply styled hair didn’t distract attention from her outfit and actually accentuated it.
In a statement, Ms. Banks, the host and an executive producer of the show, said, "We are doing everything we can to make sure that all the girls who weren't seen get an opportunity to audition." On Saturday an open casting call for the show at the Park Central Hotel in Midtown Manhattan erupted in mayhem as thousands of aspiring contestants pushed into the crowd, a situation made worse when someone screamed that a smoking overheated car was on fire and about to explode.
Three people were arrested, and six were treated for minor injuries. No rescheduled casting dates were announced.

On being nervous about cameras taping her personal life: “I am dating [Jay Lyon] on the show. It was something I was nervous about going in. Clearly, I mean, who wants to date while having three cameras around you? I mean, it’s not an ideal situation.”
On kissing boys on The City: “It’s natural. I feel that if I just let my true feelings show on the show, then I can do no wrong.”
On being able to tell if her date just wants to be famous by being on The City: “You can just tell through time, I feel I have a pretty good intuition. I kind of just sense it, it’s kind of like a gut feeling.”
On her preference when it comes to L.A. boys versus N.Y. boys: “L.A. guys, it’s all about the entertainment industry there. Everyone is kind of on a one tracked mind, you’re in kind of a bubble. Nothing against them, I grew up there, my best friends are there. New York guys just seem a little bit more cultured, a little more motivated, a little step out of the box more, more confident.”
On working for fashion legend Diane Von Furstenberg: “I’m learning so much from her. I feel like she’s established such a brand and such a company that I can learn so much in terms of my own clothing line. So its pretty cool for me right now.”

Tyra Banks has been named the hardest-working person in showbusiness in a new online poll.
The model, talk show host and TV presenter has become a minimogul since she stepped down from the catwalk in 2006 - and now she has landed at the top of a new survey aimed at finding America's hardest-working celebrity.
Banks beat American Idol host and DJ Ryan Seacrest, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum and Sean `Diddy' Combs to claim the top spot on Parade.com's annual Summer Pop Culture poll.
The poll also claimed Oprah Winfrey as the celebrity most people would like as a next-door neighbour and Nicole Richie beat Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise to become the celebrity with the Most Improved Reputation.
Meanwhile, voters chose Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer as the Most Unlikely Couple and Halle Berry beat out Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Alba to claim the Hottest New Mama crown.

Those lovely ladies are just a few of the celebrities who have been selected by “TV One Access” as the 16 Sexiest Black Women Alive, it was announced on Wednesday.
Hosted by Jamal Munnerlyn and guest co-host Tatyana Ali, “Countdown: The 16 Sexiest Black Women Alive,” will air on Sunday, July 6 on cable network TV One.
In addition to naming the top list of on-screen sirens, "TV One Access" also gives viewers a look at the women who embody categories such as "Sexiest Athletes," "Sexiest Sense of Style," and "Quintessential Complete Package."
